Khaitan acts on $36m Paras Healthcare buy of Fortis JK via long-term lease (Jul ‘19)

Paras Healthcare Private Limited (client) acquired Fortis JK Hospital through the purchase of medical assets of Plus Medicare Hospitals Private Limited under an Asset Transfer and Framework Agreement. Paras will manage and run the operations of the hospital of Plus Medicare Hospitals Private Limited through a long-term lease agreement. The total consideration being an aggregate amount of $36 million over a period of time, according to Khaitan & Co.

Khaitan & Co advised Paras Healthcare Private Limited led by a team of The core transaction team involved partner Mayank Singh and senior associate Aditya Singha with assistance from the following, Due diligence aspects partner Aditya Patni, Real estate partner Avnish Sharma and principal associate Punit Bhuwania.


Deal value: USD 36 million over a period of time.
