JSA, Algo act on Chennai’s Syrma Tech buy of Gurgaon’s SGS Tekniks with PE support

Chennai-based electronics manufacturer Syrma Technology has signed a cash plus stock agreement with Gurgaon-based SGS Tekniks for a takeover. PE investor GEF Capital has supported this transaction with an undisclosed investment.

J Sagar Associates advised SGS Tekniks Manufacturing Private Limited led by a team of partners Lalit Kumar and Bharati Joshi, senior associate Amandeep Singh Virk and associates Kirti Singh and Aakanksha, with partners Divyam Agarwal and Hormuz Mehta, senior associate Saumay Bhasin and associate Jash Shah.

Update 11 December 2020: Algo Legal advised Syrma Technologies led by a team including partner Siddharth Prasad, partner Abhinav Bhalaik, CS principal associate Rahul Roy, senior associate Mahika Parikh and associate Bhakti Indu Nayak.
