J Sagar Associates has advised chemical manufacturers Rhodia Group on its slump sale acquisition of Gujarat-incorporated PI Industries, which hired Delhi firm Neo Juris.

JSA’s team consisted of M&A partner Sandeep Mehta and real estate partner Ashoo Gupta along with senior associate Amit Sirsikar and associate Medha Deo.

Neo Juris, which is a 15-lawyer boutique firm based in Delhi, led for the sellers with partners Gitika Aggarwal and Arvind Biswal. The polymer compounding business of PI Industries was acquired by Rhodia Group’s wholly owned subsidiary Rhodia Polymers & Specialties PI Industries and first announced in December.
