ELP, Clasis-Clydes acted on SAMHI Hotels JV buyout of Marriot

SAMHI Hotels Private Limited acquired 33% shareholding of SAMHI JV Business Hotels Private Limited from Luxury Singapore Holding Company Pte Ltd., an entity of the Marriott Group. Consequent to such acquisition, SAMHI Hotels Private Limited holds 100% of the shareholding of SAMHI JV Business Hotels Private Limited.

Last year, Marriott sold its 33% stake in a full-service hotels joint venture (JV) with Samhi. Though Samhi holds 100% in the erstwhile JV, the outfit owns 14 Marriott properties in India, aggregating to 2,000 rooms.

ELP advised SAMHI Hotels Private Limited led by a team of partner Sujjain Talwar, partner Darshan Upadhyay, partner Aakanksha Joshi, senior associate Megha Agarwal.

Clasis Law advised Luxury Singapore Holding Company Pte Ltd.

UK-international firm Clyde & Co advised Luxury Singapore Holding Company Pte Ltd.
