AZB acts for Tencent on $110m MX Player video streaming platform investment with Times Internet

Chinese technology giant Tencent is leading a $110-million (about Rs 780 crore) financing round in video-streaming platform MX Player, valuing it at around $500 million (around Rs 3,545 crore) post the investment, said sources close to the matter. This will be MX Player’s first external fund-raising after its acquisition by Times Internet (TIL), which has also participated in the current round. — The Economic Times
