SAM, LegaLogic transmit $25m Involute equity to Belgian gearmaker IGW

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised the BMT group on its Rs 170 crore buy of 60 per cent stake in Involute Technologies which was advised by LegaLogic Consulting.

SAM partners Mithun V Thanks and Ashoo Gupta, principal associate Anuj Bhasme, principal associate designate Ankit Guha and senior associate Neety Thakkar acted for BMT.

LegaLogic partner Vivek Sadhale and lawyers Ninad Deshpande and Rutuja Deshpande acted for Involute.

BMT acquired stake in Involute throughn its global gear-making arm, the Belgian IG Watteeuw International, while Involute specialises in gears for agriculture, construction equipment and hydraulic applications, according to Industry Europe.
