Economic Laws Practice (ELP) advised old client Mayfield Fund in its Rs 30 crore investment in Mumbai-based Securens Systems which was advised by Samvad Partners.
ELP Mumbai co-founding partner Suhail Naithani, associate partner Vinayak Burman, senior associate Archana Khosla and associate Shubhra Sharma acted for Mayfield Fund which had recently taken the firm’s advice on its investment in India Property Online and in Amagi, in addition to older investments.
Samvad managinvg partner Harish Narsappa and associate Srinivas Anirudh acted for Securens and its promoters, in which Mayfield is already an investor.
Securens founder Sunil Udupa claims to have brought the ATM machine to India, according to the Business Standard. Securens is India's largest provider of monitored intrusion alarm systems or e-surveillance systems, according to the Times of India.
