From my experience, only a contact can get you a callback - most associates are also there because of contacts
It'll cease to be a tier 1 firm then, these law firms have been able to amass the market share that they have only because of these exploitative practices. If turnaround times have to be kept low to deal with demanding clients, working hours will take a hit.
I interned there in 2021, didn't get to interact with him even once (it was virtual) plus no stipend :( Work was mostly centred around service matters from what I remember. Tried asking them if I could come to office but they didn't allow.
kitne entitled ho bhai sahab, folks w/o contacts have to follow up for at least 3-4 months to get a decent internship - kahi aur jaake crib karo
Imo, you'll end up wasting one full year and trust me on this - a lot can happen in that one year. No need if it's not absolutely necessary
Please don't come to NLUJ, the acads are pretty hectic for you to be able to balance - however, people do it by sacrificing on either a) social life b) academics or c) co/extra curriculars
Hands down Ms. Poonam Saxena at NLUJ. No infrastructural development in a long 10-year tenure. Shutting down B.Sc. LLB, exchange programmes and making appointments on the basis of nepotism. Good riddance!
NLUD and NLUJ were the two remaining bastions, they too have fallen - this is what you get when the state government gets to run a national university - RIP
NALSAR and NLUJ imo, huge campuses with a vibrant campus life. Plus, availability of all things that might not be available at GNLU. But tbh, campus life comes down to peer group and if you have a decent group, you can enjoy almost anywhere.
it would be better to get both of them with someone as zomato is better on some days while swiggy is better on others. Also note that now you can only use the membership on two devices at a time.
I'm someone who is yet to figure out what area to start out with.

I read somewhere that CAM has a rotational policy where you can move within the firm.

Does this still hold true as of 2023?
