I have worked with few partners and still doing doing on regular basis. As a member of the community, I would like to share my thoughts and experiences; Highly Professional and and goal oriented partners and teams. Lets have sw

Every associate in the team is equally treated with dignity and given exposure to handle things on their own. ▮▮▮

The story ▮▮▮ properly screenplayed ▮▮▮ to malign the RE team of the Firm. Its easy to point fingers without knowing the whole story.
In the grand scheme of things, Indian t-1 firms are not even in the top 100 law firms of the world and practically nobody outside of law knows about these organisations. I am not trying to be disrespectful, I am aware of the kind of work it takes to build such firms but why are students not aiming for the likes of Kirkland, Weil, Skadden, Linklaters etc? I am aware that in the longer term India is better when it comes to pay but it's another ballgame when you say that you are a corporate lawyer in London. Do people not understand the prestige it carries? Am I thinking too much or is everybody else crazy? I mean, let's face it, nobody would pick a Tier 1 indian firm over Kirkland or Clifford chance if given the choice.
Any insights would be super helpful!
Moved to law firm branding and I cannot tell you how happy I am. I login at 10AM and get done around 6-7PM on 99.99% of the days. Pay isn't great, but at least I have my sanity.
This email alleging unprofessionalism is really laudable, and mind it that these comments of unprofessionalism are coming from an associate who does not even know what professionalism means and who has been jumping boats every 6 months.
It is also true that such mindless comments are coming from associates who are part of the mutual admiration club, and who have either become disinterested in work or have been given notice to look for other jobs. It is very easy for fence sitters to make malicious comments just for the sake of having fun. I have personally seen this guy being absent from client meetings since he had an urge to smoke.
The people who are applauding the guts of this associate and treating this as revolutionary step, must hire this guy, and get ready for the next viral story….

And that “senior partner” was only calling this “chap” out for his lackadaisical attitude towards work.
Just because he was asked to work, doesn’t mean he can say whatever he wishes to.

Watched all the relevant videos from Khaitan & Co. on youtube. (They have all my respect for taking this initiative and putting in so much effort).
Their videos discuss the topics on the surface level but it does put me in the right direction to research further. if you keep doing this on a regular basis you will easily develop a virtual map in your mind and will always know where to find things when presented with a problem.

Whatever the backstory, I can 100% believe that the A0 was ill-treated. It takes guts to complain in general but extra guts in this case given the people involved.

I've also heard positive stories about the team at this tier I law firm. They've provided opportunities to many individuals who have not only grown professionally but also as individuals. The collaborative environment and mentorship have been instrumental in shaping successful careers, both within and outside the firm. It's worth mentioning that every workplace has its challenges, and it's crucial to maintain a balanced perspective. While we discuss the concerns raised by this person, let's also acknowledge the many achievements and supportive aspects of the team that have contributed to the success of so many.
Regarding the allegations made by this A0, it's essential to approach such claims with a balanced view. Allegations in a high-pressure work environment can sometimes be highly exaggerated or not entirely reflective of the team's conduct. It's essential to encourage transparency and dialogue to address these concerns properly. While some issues may exist, we should be cautious about jumping to conclusions without a complete understanding of the situation.
I genuinely hope that A0 learns from this experience, whether it was a genuine cry for help or a reaction to anticipated challenges. Ultimately, the legal profession is demanding, and it's crucial for individuals to find the right fit for their skills and temperament. Let's support one another in navigating these challenges and wish him the best in his future endeavors.

How would a toxic person like you know what happened.
It’s easy to sit upon and judge others behavior.
Everybody has flaws so does he. But then there are cowards like you, who anonymously vent out grudge. Without knowing facts!!!
I have women's quota reservation but i don't want to continue. The act of sitting at one place and studying with so much uncertainty is not suiting me anymore.
I want to work when I have the most energy to contribute, be a part of a community.
Same goes for other t 1s, most have freeze until 2025 end. So only 2026 batch has a chance imo.
😂😂😂😂You seem to hold grudges against him.
That’s good to see.
Toxic behaviour of the partners, yes!
But nowhere as unsafe as Delhi. Delhi roads have rapes and murders happening everyday in broad daylight on the streets.
Do you know the number of SAs happening in delhi/ Gurgaon every minute?
GNLU (dont know personally) from the things on LI itself, you tell us.
Lets list down more instances which people must have gone through, and Janta should be aware of incidents, with firms like Trilegal, SAM, CAM, KCO, LUTHRA, SARAF, etc.
Heard from a colleague it starts from around 80lakhs and some cases get 1cr in their first year?
And no one forced the complianant to write an apology. ▮▮▮
Also a warning: do you really want to date girls who judge you by your car? I once met a girl who made a comment saying that she is only impressed with guys who drive BMWs, Jags and Mercs, and considers Audis to be downmarket. Maybe she made the comment in jest, but I took it as a warning and decided against asking her out.
Can anyone shed light how is the firm, internship experience and chances of securing ppo?
Think about it. Jindal can open doors for you abroad if you are rich (which you seem to be).
On the other hand, studying as a day scholar in your hometown will make you a pampered mummy’s boy, plus your maid will do all work for you. So go for GNLU and become a chad. Don’t end up as a beta/cuck.
P.S. For the same reason I will suggest that people in Gujarat should pick NUJS gen quota over GNLU NRI quota.
2.5 cr for this shit???!!! Is Mumbai really worth it unless you earn 1 cr a year salary? Isn’t it better to work elsewhere with less salary?
