I interned with SAM last month and worked my ass off. (ONLINE). I was given a lot of work and I aced it, evident fron my feedback. However i was denied a callback or extension after calling the HR. I feel really depressed right now knowing it has all gone to water.
Also the OP never asked for makeup advice, but attire.
Even in the worst case scenario, references from T1 firms would help your CV far more than some random T3 firms.
Apart from giving you a good experience and building character and what not, does spending a semester abroad at a good university add brownie points to your CV? I have the opportunity to choose btwn two t1 nlus this year and would like to factor this into my decision. Thanks!

Not many people had problem when it was just SC/ST getting reservation, they deserve it as it came out through poona pact. Either reservation or separate electorate, unfortunately our leaders chose reservation and not separate electorate.
Its the OBC which is the problem and i have seen many UC harping about vulnerable SC/ST whereas its OBC which is problem. OBC has no such basis, many of them were ruling class and landed caste. Solution to backwardness of OBC was universall good education not reservation. But it was rebellion of middle caste for capturing state power. A lot of people group OBC together with other vulnerable groups for which i think distinction is necessary. They werent oppressed, they were the oppressor too. Middle caste culpability in casteism is dishonesty ignored and that is dishonest and very grave sin. As often these middle landed caste are the one who commit most atrocities.
Get aware about issues before opening mouth about issue as complex as reservation. General category's focus is wrong, they focus too much on SC/ST whereas its OBC who is to be blamed. Reservation is representation, agree but only representation of SC/ST was agreed on not OBC.
And there's one fact you would like to know reservation is not fundamental right and state may or may not extend it. But OBC kangers are hell bent on declaring it as fundamental right which will make it more hot potato.
Its complex topic, dont gaslight general castes.

Looking at the market, sometimes I feel 2nd option would be better for me because following 1st strategy might leave me unemployed 💀.
PLEASE HELP !! THANK YOU !!
1. Made a senior guy write an editorial test for a law review.
2. Got offered co-authorship for doing citations.
3. Easy and abundant sex, liquor, and other substances.
4. Internships are smooth.

WAKE UP....IT AINT EASY
I am writing this especially for graduates from 2022 and 2023 batches (but I hope it helps future batches as well). Being a member of this group and finding myself dissatisfied with how I am doing career wise, I have seen my peers also find themselves in vicious circle of career dissatisfaction. While some are still struggling to start with a stable role, many are headed to large urban places for litigation and law firms jobs. Others are continuing with their judiciary exam preparations and many more say that they would go for Masters. On the obvious part, mental stress, working hours, no good pay and feeling of being disconnected to family run through every answer. While my schoolmates in other professions also continue to survive the journey, they sing the similar song (though many not explicitly say it) that the discontent with their current position is something that haunt them.
Dear Seniors, what would be some positive things that you would like to say to cheer us up. How do we shed our impatience, get going with the uncertainties around us, assimilate and acclimatise more fluidly at workplace and become more caring, responsible and composite towards not just our near ones but people of various backgrounds around us.
They say these are challenging times to be on the planet, with so much going on. And you all have sailed through such challenges and have a knack of dealing with it. Please throw us some light, vent liveliness and walk us through your journey.
The floor is all yours!!
i was under the impression that M&AAAA is the most money-making practise and people cry that they are being paid less in disputes
is disputes actually as good as corporate ( all heads ).
And I thought you guys liked to claim that NIRF was full of sh*t but are now conveniently citing it to show the apparent declining research output. The journals section of the NLUD website alone should give you a reality check that research projects are still ongoing. And the NAAC grade is hardly something anyone cares for when choosing a law school, private unis like Symbi and SRM have A+ grades there. This is all a pointless debate since NLUD is rising and unless it shoots itself in the foot the way NLS did, it'll continue to get better and cement its place as the top law school in the country. And Harpreet Kaur was hardly considered one of the best faculty at NLUD (she's still pretty good for corp and an able admin at NLUJ) and she's on deputation only, the way Bajpai was at RGNUL. So she'll eventually be back. No one likes to leave NLUD since there's hardly any place that is much better, both locationally and academically. But you can keep crying in denial.
BANGALORE = MUMBAI
Back in the day Marathi Language goons used to make a mess in Mumbai for Marathi to be the language used.
Did it succeed? IT was an UTTER FAILURE. Now in Mumbai almost nobody talks Marathi. Hindi is prominent even in Pune and Nagpur.
NOBODY WOULD SPEAK KANNADA IN BANGALORE in the next 20 years.
Fate of Marathi in Mumbai will happen in Bangalore for Kannada.
No amount of language chauvinism can prevent thats from happening. All this kannada language chauvinism is BS.
Next time when BJP comes, they will shut down all Kannada activists and ensure that Hindi will also be respected.
Now all this kannada chauvinism is because of congress and local parties.
She is an old woman. Still thinking about all these.
If you are a conventionally attractive man, you will get hit on. But you don't get creeped out like we do. You don't have to fear for your life.
Also,
Compared to my other female colleagues people almost always treat me nicely for my good look. Mostly men, but even women treat me nicely because of looks.
My other female colleagues are rarely given the courtesies I am given to.
But is it worth it? Absolutely no. Because good looks can attract creeps and dangerous men.
2) How difficult is it get a loan of the entire cost of program? Around 15 lacs.
3) Do banks provide for every expenses in the loan like meal, hostel, clothes, intership costs etc?
LawSikho was started by iPleaders founders post this fall out which is now many times bigger in terms of revenue compared to NUJS
Bottom line is, you can expect to score better in BBA, but BA does not prevent you from being the batch toppers
I thinks this a sign, universe's sign that we should get in touch and start a family together.
Love,
AS
Also, what’s so wrong in what the VP said? Even very respected scholars have criticised judicial activism.
Chill karo and enjoy life. There is so much more in life than being a lawyer from NLU.
The language row is back in focus after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said in October "everyone living in this state should learn to speak Kannada".

So the Congress clearly lit the spark and is 100% responsible for this. Let’s also remember that the 60% Kannada rule is a local law and the Congress is in power in the state. They are obviously doing this to cut the BJP’s Lok Sabha tally in the state. It’s really disgusting to see the extent to which the Congress and other opposition parties are playing dirty politics. They would rather set this country on fire than see Modi rerun to power. All to safeguard the power of the Nehru dynasty and likewise other regional dynasties running the RJD, Samajwadi, DMK, TMC etc.
(Disclaimer: Kindly avoid my last post as I was unable to finish writing it and accidentally clicked submit 😭)
I’m a 2nd year student from a t-1 NLU and I’ll be starting my corp. law internship somewhere around may next year. I have recently finished my SC internship under the ASG of India and the work I got there included mere copy-pasting LODs and 1-2 lines opinions, from which I learned absolutely nothing that would add up to my knowledge. Plus, while I was observing the court proceedings and the general court environment, I’ve come to a conclusion (after having done internships at HC and District Court as well) that Litigation is not for me as it’s a complete hassle and I want something that is more streamlined and straightforward as a career-path. I believe that a career in corporate law would suit my needs and expectations that I have from a job. I just wanted to know as to what kind of work would I be entrusted upon at a Law Firm (inclusive of all the teams except dispute resolution) internship that I must be ready to face when the opportunity arises. Also, kindly tell the expectations that a law firm associate would have from someone who has just completed his 2nd year at a law school.
Thanks.
2. Apart from TDS deduction, did you have any other tax implication to pay? (because you said we were in same situation)
