1. Indirect tax laws don't really mirror other countries and doesn't make you mobile. In tax, transfer pricing is uniform amd will make you mobile, followed by international tax then other part of direct tax and then Indirect tax.
2. CAs are present in both DT and IDT with good hold. However, lawyers are also present in both. With GST, there's a lot of data related litigations, so are better handled by person who did compliance.
However, i must point out that projects is not limited to just electricity act, but also deals with EPC agreements, supply agreements, facility agreements etc. what say now ?
Unmatched pay, your profile shining on the firm website—it's the Tatva Hyderabad way. Sure, you might get some LinkedIn love from curious folks wanting to know about the stellar work culture. But isn't that a sweet problem to have?
Don't let competitors' grudges cloud the Tatva experience. Take the plunge. Your journey to success begins here! 🚀

What do you work for money or career?
Salary is always byproduct of your performance.
On the other hand, Indirect tax litigation space is mostly driven by lawyers as the issues are less procedural/compliances and more substantive in nature. Further, indirect tax litigation is broad as it covers GST, VAT (alcohol and petroleum), central and state excise, customs, and trade remedies. Indirect tax laws in India mostly mirror the indirect tax laws in countries such as Australia, Canada, EU, etc and hence have a universal colour. This makes a practitioner geographically mobile.
Also, while Delhi is the hub for tax litigation given the presence of the Tribunals and quasi judicial bodies and the Supreme Court. Bombay and Bangalore can also be considered as there’s a huge demand for good tax lawyers in these places.
Planning on moving back to Hyderabad
Isn't it compulsory?
Untrue or unworthy of being taken seriously ? No.
If you get beyond political tribalism- you realise this person had no business teaching law students. And she had no business at all teaching them that nonsense bumble stuff. She got the job because she was someone’s daughter- why shouldn’t she lose the job because she’s someone’s daughter?
Gotta hand it to him, for the relentless hustle. Now I'm sure he will market this IPO filing to another 1000 ▮▮▮ college graduates to buy his courses, and then dangle some ▮▮▮ LPA job ▮▮▮.
my personal ranking choice
1. NLU Rajgir
2. NLU Kashipore
3. NLU Hisar
4. NLU Bangalore
5. NLU Kohima
or we will call you like the nirf uni
Plus, I checked OLA and Uber. The one-way fare for cabs is around 350, which comes to 600-700 in a day. And there are no autos as well.
If you don't think a competent attorney with 12 years of practice and presumably good connections can offer you a 8lpa salary you are grossly mistaken.
Ofc it could be a ploy, but it could also not be one.
Yes, contact interns aren't assessed for callbacks. They aren't even given presentations.

Kaali peeli taxis are and will remain functional
Also, apply to the newly elevated judges if possible since they won't be bombarded with applications
(1) seemingly unrealistic pay scale
(2) nobody in litigation circle explicity mentions pay
So I think he is just trying to build a following on linkedin and/or collecting email IDs / CVs of student for god knows what.
I visited some websites to find out how many matters he has appeared in SupremeCourt and it seems that he has hardly even appeared in any matter. But again he may be doing Advisory work
1. Always be dressed perfectly. Don’t look too nerdy as well. It is psychological that people want to talk more to people who dress nicely but not to those who wear blazers and shit to office.
2. Don’t act like a know-it-all kid. If you don’t know how to do a certain task assigned to you, it’s better to ask your assignor right there and then.
3. Make your expectations clear from day 1. If you’re looking for a call-back and a possible future, make it clear to the firm and ask them what all do they expect from you.
4. Always ask for deadlines whenever getting work from someone and turn the work in before the hard deadline.
5. Don’t be creepy to anyone or trying to be extra friendly to your superiors.
6. Don’t be too much on your phone in the office, scrolling reels or playing games. If you’re free then ask for work from everyone and even if no one gives it to you, read a book from the library.
1. NLSIU
2. NLUD
3. NALSAR
4. GNLU
5. NLUJ
6. MNLU- M
7. NUJS
8. JGLS
9. RGNUL
10. NLU- Prayagraj
building where cement is just constantly falling onto your head and hostels which were actually staff quarters not designed for Student Life
NLUJ atleast has realistic Sports Infrastructure and doesnt Just Piggyback off the SAI Facilities,A real Campus life exists at NLUJ with a 55 Acre Campus and not a standalone building where even the Student Body and Admin clash over Building Access
Don't get me started on the State of NUJS admin and the fact that Everything occurs in Bengali despite being a "NLU".
Simply Put NLUJ offers a Stable Academic and Residential Scenario with Professors who have infact rejected NUJS on the Contrary to your statements
Choose NLUJ over NUJS and do yourself a favor
Also, had another doubt. Are kaali-peeli taxis still functional? Because someone mentioned that they have been discontinued.
also if anyone has the email of the HR, please share
I have interned in both Direct and Indirect Tax teams, imo indirect tax laws are more complicated and boring.
LKS,NDA, ELP, DMD, Lumiere, BMR, Vaish, KCo
Alternatively BEST does ply from Worli to Churchgate via the Acharya Chowk. I’m not sure about the timings but it’s roughly a 45 minute journey.
Hope this helps!
Here are some ideas why this news may be exciting for many lawyers:
1. First company started by NLU grads to do an IPO as far as I can tell
2. Many of us saw Ramanuj and Abhyuday build this startup in front of us - in some ways we feel like we have been part of the journey
3. LawSikho provides a lot of value to the ecosystem, free online and physical events, iPleaders blog, superlawyer, lawsikho youtube channels, regular newsletters - there are a lot of free resources apart from paid courses
4. they have created a way for first generation lawyers to accelerate their career, given confidence to non-NLU grads that they can compete for jobs (there is a youtube channel where they showcase some of their success stories https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAO_zN2EvINaQz5eYc5Oww)
5. They have created a way for Indian law students and lawyers to tap into US, UK, Canadian paralegal markets, thats pretty remarkable
6. They are helping Indian lawyers to crack SQE, NCA, California bar exam etc, I think thats very cool
This is what I can think of, no expert on the subject admittedly
a lot of lawyers hate them especially when they have a cloak of anonymity, perhaps because LawSikho says non-NLU grads can beat NLU grads or something like that
I answered it by telling them the work I did while leading the moot court committee of my uni, and they were satisfied with the answer.
Mike will review your resume.
Thanks!
You can always get NALSAR via vacancy and shift there high chances exist
