Moreover, everyone have become maniacs for getting a ppo/job at a law firm(more than 90% of the batch is solely inclined towards corporate) that theyβre constantly doing moots/adrs and debate competitions non-stop. They sleep for like 3-4 hrs a day at max as opposed to me who need a minimum of 7 hours worth of sleep to even feel sane. I just donβt know whether Iβm even fit for this toxic profession despite having a percentile of upwards of 99.5 in clat 2022. I feel like Iβm going nowhere in life. People say youβre not a fit for this profession if you donβt party, hookup with random strangers, be a social butterfly and constantly be on a hustle or else you see your entire life going down the drain??
Iβm not depressed or anything but honestly fed up with all of this and would honestly like to have your guys opinion on this so that I donβt feel that alone or being the sole left-out guy whoβs golden period of college isnβt going the way he thought it would.

As Arghya says, it was an inclusive and secular document which promoted direct democracy. As Arghya notes, Veer Savarkar no doubt had certain issues with the Muslim community, but the Hindu Mahasabha document treats all as equal. So what's the problem?? Why is everything written by the RSS and Hindu Mahasabha automatically bad? Remember also that Arghya Sengupta is a Rhodes scholar with a PhD from Oxford and was a multi-gold medalist at Law School. He knows his stuff.
Also, we need to get out of our white-skin complex and worship everything Western. The West was built on slavery, plunder and loot. Why should we copy their rules? Vikramjit Banerjee made this exact point in his speech, while referring to Black Lives Matter.
For your reference:
The 44th amendment of the Indian Constitution removed the Right to Property in 1978. It was removed from the Constitution under the Moraji Desai government.
I'm not familiar with the situation at other NLUs, but I know some people at MNLU Mumbai who tell me the situation there is similar to that of NALSAR.
The obvious answer staring you all in the face is paddy. Heβs gonna take over once raj is okay to step away. Not a scholar at all - but then again itβs more business than university.
I was expecting a physical internship but its a virtual one.
Can I expect a call back and PPO via a virtual internship?
Can I request them to convert my mode of internship?
Has anyone been in the same situation?

A little background about me; I am currently pursuing my LLM from a top NLU with a subpar LLB degree from a traditional law college. The placements from uni have not been the best and there has been no response to my cold emails.
While I have moot court achievements to my credit, I cannot say the same for my internships. All the time spent on moot court made it impossible to prioritize internships.
Any guidance would really be appreciated.
You did not do anything wrong friend, its just that the profession is cruel to most.
What's the pay for C&S
These are very good channels, specially the Nirma one.
The other thing thats important is that competition for top jobs and scholarships is fierce and its the main focus most of the time. no one has time for all this. Admin at NLUs also do not generally encourage cancelling professors or students. When some students tried to get a harvard alum in trouble at NLS, Sudhir stood up for her, refused to be cowed down and let the mob run the show. This isnt true for all NLUs but some for sure.
The problem with jgls is- 1) their students are non serious enough to waste time on all this instead of studying, 2) the curriculum and faculty are not allowed to be rigorous enough to keep students engaged. 3) its a very big university where people dont know each other and BBA and BA students even are often at odds. 4) to some extent the inmates are running the asylum. students have figured out that they can get professors and other students in trouble and that the admin would listen to them. it starts small- getting admin to change grades or demand a retest or demand extensions or lie about medical accomodation- but that kind of corruption and entitlement goes deep. 5) the admin at JGLS is corrupt. Theyre more interested in keeping their job and giving themselves raises than they are in building an academic institution.
differs in percentage batch-strength wise though

The work without due payment is just exploitative. Supplis come late at night and then interns are put on it. Work is hectic which is fine but without any monetary benefit itβs just free and unfair labour. Motivation to churn out good quality work also dies eventually. At least offices of Judges and Law officers should do better in terms of paying interns for the rest of the legal industry to follow.
Pune office rk dewan fresher salary any idea
making unpaid interns only restricts the (unpaid) opportunities, doesnt increase paid ones unfortunately, so all in all it'd be a net loss
Kahan se aaya? Kiska hai yeh?
Khaali-peeli kisi ke paas badhta hai
Koi yahan kadka hai, whoa-oh-oh
Ho jitna zyada, utni zyada
Zamana, saala, yeh izzat teri karta hai
Paisa hai tohβ¦
(Paisa hai tohβ¦)
Paisa hai toh badi-badi, badi-badi baatein
Paisa hai toh lambi-lambi, lambi-lambi raatein
Paisa hai toh five-star saari mulaqatein
Paisa hai toh gaaliyan bhi saare maang khaate

Gaaliyan bhi saare maang khaate, paisa hai toh
Koi kehta money, koi kehta maaya
Kisne kamaya? Kisne gawaya?
Par jis pe chhaya iska saaya
Woh ginte-ginte na thakta
Na baap bada, na bhaiya
Neeyat badle dekh rupaiya
Ban ja do-chaar ka saiyyan
Jo dikhta hai, woh bikta
Jo tu dhani hai, logon ke badal jaate tevar
Khwaah-makhaah hi karne lagte favour
Itna saara cash, yaara, karoon kahan spend?
Karodon pe crore, hote nahi end
Sabne kaha hai, main bhi kahun
Tu maane ya na maane, teri marzi hai (bas paisa sach hai)
Baakisab yahan farzi hai, whoa-oh
Paisa hai tohβ¦

Solution: Let's get more interns in the team and force them to do the heavy duty work and bill the client as budgeted. This is how firms have been saving up on intern work not by saving an entry level salary. Those associates who ask us to send a screenshot of our time sheet entries just to reproduce the same in their time entries, you're fooling nobody.
