Crawford Bayley, Dorseys jointly beat rivals in SAIL disinvestment bid

Crawford Bayley and Dorsey & Whitney have won the mandate to advise public sector undertaking SAIL on its follow-on public offer (FPO) to raise Rs 8,000 crore.

The two firms won against four other firms – Amarchand Mangaldas, FoxMandal, Luthra & Luthra and S&R Associates – which were also in the running, each pitching together with international firms.

Crawford Bayley had won the race, reported the Economic Times citing PTI.

Legally India understands that Dorsey & Whitney pitched jointly with the firm and won on price after beauty parade presentations to the company.
