USD 30m is pocket change in the banking industry. Why is this being even covered?

These are routine borrowings for offshore branches of Indian banks. Khaico's work is limited to issuing a template opinion re: capacity and enforceability.

Because now you know that Khaitan and CC work together and what kind of work Khaitan's banking practice does. :)

But seriously, we will try to cover deals more regularly, including smaller deals that we wouldn't have perhaps done as standalones before, usually as very small and easily digestible updates.

We all know KCO's banking team is in the pits with no work -- guess this just proves it. Reporting a USD 30 mn loan, that too to an offshore branch. Kian, do you have any idea how foolish this headline sounds???
