It is far beyond merely being interdisciplinary subjects. Now these domains need to connect (by law). Forensics in the NFSU context doesn't just mean the usual blood sample, and post-mortem but also digital and cyber forensics, corporate and financial forensics, and fraud investigation. It seamlessly connects the upstream and the downstream. These are the specializations available for the two 5-year integrated law programs in Gandhinagar and Delhi. These have been designed factoring in emerging demand from the industry who are keen to grow their legal practices spanning forensic and integrity services. They are keeping a watch on how the government is prioritizing this, and they will shape their services accordingly. Graduates from these programs will have many more options and pathways in addition to "traditional" legal jobs. None of what is happening is happening by accident.
