Had a similar thought ages ago. I genuinely don't think that it'll get any better with the current mod :(
There is so much untapped potential in LI!!!
Now that the owner is forever anonymous, is struck by strict foreign media regulations and R is possibly only a unpaid volunteer who cant act on behalf of LI, it needs to be controlled by others.
Why not make it a cooperative company model, where everyone contributes, the revenue going for development and hosting parties etc.
Therefore, please consider my proposal of offer to purchase LI.
