Anyone here is a new mother or knows someone in their team that is at partner level? Would love to hear from them on how they've figured it out.
More than that, if you look at hiring pattern across firms - from 2017 to 21; firms have hired far more women than men (65:35). And most women stay in the firms even after pregnancy.
How do to be mothers or mother's juggle their law firm lives? Specially when the kid is still young. Assuming that as a concept the mother would want to have more time with the child. How do late night deliverables and urgent deadlines work out.
Are the firms in India sensitive to this aspect or the de facto choice is dropping out of work for a year if you want to enjoy the time with the offspring with a more breathing space.
