Its difficult to save in Mumbai due to the pressure to keep up with the hawabaazi and potray an image for your blue chip client. Also, one does not get time to routinely go for outings since weekends are very rare (without work) and most of the times you are out for business development dinners/lunches with your client/team when time permits. Lastly, cutting down on smoking and junk food has helped both my pocket and my health which I do not regret and infact recommend everyone to follow suit.
The money may be good but your savings discipline makes the change if you want to have a family and keep up with a above-middle class lifestyle in a place like Mumbai or Delhi. Personally never ever thought about getting married since its a lot of responsibility (my parents hope this thought changes haha).
Cheers!

Is it usual to get internship details like a month before the desired start date, or did I miss something? Just want to make sure I'm on the right track. 🙏
Thanks a bunch!

What I have realized by doing extensive research on the B-schools are these few things -
An Ideal Profile for the Top 20 B-schools of the country across all rankings are -
10th - 80%+
12th - 80%+
UG - 80%+ (Preferably in a NON-ENGG course and if it's from an elite institute then it's a major advantage)
Work experience - 2 years from a good reputed company
Gender - Female gets diversity points of around 5 percent weight.
Co & Extra Curricular - You need to have some extraordinary achievements here which your leadership and managerial acumen
Also, there should not be a gap of more than 2 years.
Lastly, an MBA is not worth it if you don't do it from the TOP 20 institutes as these institutes only have the capability of placing you in a job that pays around what you invest in 2 years which is upwards of 25 lacs at least in the CTC term.
I realized that given my profile and the aptitude I have, I wouldn't land in a Top 20 B-school anytime soon so I left the MBA space altogether.
you will receive emails from the uni about when to pay the fee and report to campus. Essentially, anything that you must know, will be told to you. Don't worry so much! hope this helps!
That said, what are your other options?
I don't think Trilegal is going to implode so easily. However, they need better PR. It's very evident.
And Lala firms people should instead be more interested in treating their lawyers well and should match Trilegal's pay structure.
The only real (and unfortunate) way of dealing with this insecurity is to disregard other people’s appreciation or criticism as far as practicable.
Thanks in advance!
Why are Kannadigas not angry with Telguites? because they learn the language. they assimilate, and they treat the locals as equal humans. Read that stupid angels share book and tell me that there isn't irrational bigotry in how north Indian migrants- particularly the wealthy people- treat the so-called "natives". why should South Indian states pay more than their fair share toward the national coffers and receive less than their share? why are they punished politically for implementing health care and family planning and education and employment? why are we made to go along with the silliness of religion-based politics when that stuff is irrelevant to most South Indians?
If you want the country to be united- you have to take seriously the issues raised by those unlike you. If you want to simply shame people by calling them anti-national when not doing anything to help them lead a better life- you can go ahead. You just won't be successful.
What I am focusing is on variety of litigation in higher courts so I just have to research , read and argue and get out of mess of dirty trial court lethargy and work.
You have to be dexterous with humans in litigation and not fuck up. Litigation is very emotionally sensitive field. You have to read the temperature of room, of the judge of witnesses and clients. You need intutitive skills.
Content wise, IndiaCorpLaw seems to follow an approach where they accept the first half decent article they get on a new update, irrespective of whether the author has something to contribute to the topic. The published articles, therefore, tend to be very dry (more often than not). IRCCL has great content.
As for the Aslc process, when does it start? I'm guessing probably a month or two before induction? Is there any way to connect with seniors beforehand? I know LinkedIn is an option, but it seems kind of weird to just approach them out of the blue there
Also as for the ragging, yeah I don't mind that much. I know what to avoid and what to settle for, and I am sure I will sail through if I find more helpful seniors like you. Thanks for your tips!
I'm not an uptight guy, and you will see that when we do meet. This system is at least better than my former college where the students are left to fend for themselves for everything, and seniors are too busy to take any interest at all.

I don't believe there is a better corp team....all these teams require you to work 12 hrs a day and be always available.
It's only been 6 months and I feel like leaving everyday. I have developed migraine and adult acne. I am sure I will have high blood sugar if I get tested.
Can you point them out in a way? I have also been associated with the firm in the past, and I am very curious.
NUJS did not issue certificates to NUJS
All of these are on record before courts
Your fictitious story would not help - you have tried this before and failed.
NUJS has admitted its fault, signed a settlement agreement in December 2022, paid 80 lakhs approx to iPleaders. iPleaders delivered services a 2nd time to learners, without charging anything extra. Many students cleared exams. This data was given to NUJS.
NUJS issued certificates to a few people. And then stopped, and breached the agreement, refused to pay further dues to iPleaders and refused to give more certificates to rest of the learners with the justification that UGC has filed SLP in SC although SC refused to give stay on HC order when UGC asked for it.
UGC kept taking dates in court for many months. NUJS used it as excuse to not implement HC order (although its no valid justification where there is no stay)
NUJS has acted illegally throughout
iPleaders never marketed any course as UGC recognised, rather they made everyone sign a waiver that they know course is not UGC recognised, this is part of court filings and court observed that students were aware of no UGC recognition
In any case, these were courses run by NUJS, students paid to NUJS, iPleaders was only a vendor to NUJS, any non compliance is solely responsibility of NUJS
and this is why, nobody dared to file a single case against iPleaders, while iPleaders has been taking NUJS to cleaners over unpaid dues and winning arbitration
You allegation of scma against iPleaders is entirely defamatory
