Mooting - it would matter a fair bit if you won any top international moot or even went through semis - but it will be difficult to find other students and resources at your school to make that achievable.

On HM team - I see that the work hours are long and the atmosphere is sombre. I'm okay with long working hours and sombre colleagues as long they don't actively go out of the way to make your life difficult. I hear there is more scope for professional growth and a steeper learning curve as a lawyer given HM's team is not as top heavy as RM's and deals with some level of understaffing.
On RM's team - Have not heard anything negative about culture for a long time until recently. An insider told me that the team has grown too large (doesn't have Ashwath style verticals) to manage and no longer cares about whether their associates are growing at a PQE-appropriate pace and if tested, they would significantly lag behind their peers in the market and a large number of mid level hires are sub-par at best, this is in addition to rapidly declining bonuses (unless that's just SAM and not a team specific problem? Perspective appreciated.). Is all this a common occurrence for teams of rainmaker partners?
Given this, should I stick to my current T2 or go to HM's team at Tri over RM's team? On the other I have heard that Raghubir is an excellent boss to have and culturally the team is incredible and fosters respect for personal boundaries. I would value all of this over money.
Please advice on what you would do in these circumstances? Please note that I have incredible respect for both teams and recognise that they are stars in the profession. The intent of this post is not to sling mud at anyone, I just want to know what the better fit is. Thank you.
Think for yourself: how many research professors do you see even in foreign institutions rather than professors? Maybe 1 or 2.
Do you even study in an NLU?

Have you forgotten the "choone se AIDS nahi sirf pyaal failta hai" campaign?
Back in my day, I did moot against Christ people and I was not quite impressed by them. Take it how you may.
Plus internships and contacts. For someone who lives in Bangalore, its going to be very difficult to make contacts in the apex court that is only in Delhi. Sure, corp guys may make contacts in Bangalore, but Delhi offers an all around package for lawyer when it comes to networking.
If done well, that will change everything.
MNLU Mumbai released the placement brochure for the batch of 2024, thoughts? Can someone analyze this and provide information about the employment situation/angle in MNLU Mumbai? A confused student who has to choose between MNLU Mumbai and HNLU Raipur
It's all part of the YOLO mentality of Gen Z. Even with a salary of just 12 L a year, they are willing to take a loan and buy a BMW for 1 crore and have a destination wedding abroad for 2-3 crores. Plus, of course, buy an Omega watch, have weekly dinners at the Taj and Oberoi etc. This is all hedging on the fact that they will become partners and easily recoup their expenses. After they become partners, they hedge again that they will become equity partners and then take a new loan to buy DLF Apartments in Gurgaon for 20-30 crores.
Just one warning though: while you will certainly recoup all these expenses if you work your whole career in a law firm, there is also the risk of burning out in your thirties. If you quit, it's all gone: car, flat, trophy wife etc.
I feel helpless because there is no way i can join a T1 now and my mind is not just accepting the fact that i couldn't make it to my dream firm (Trilegal).
Within a month of SkDR, the SBA and its big brother BSR released that Janab-e-Ashraf was, at the very least, much fairer and pragmatic than SkDR.
If you are serious and have evidence kindly publish on LinkedIn in your own name and then come here
But not we have to defame people anonymously and then cry whhyyyy kian not allow this
What stupid people are these
And everytime its someone from NUJs trying to pull this stunt
To be clear, however, a couple of students from NLUJ/GNLU/NLIU, etc., will be competent enough to be considered for T1 law firm jobs. However, there will be very few such students, so I did not mention these in my original posts.
In fact, I know one person from KPMSOL and another from ASL who got T1 jobs. I am sure that there are others like them; however, I cannot list down the law schools that everyone who ever got a T1 job graduated from, and thus I did not mention law schools like NLUJ/GNLU/NLIU, etc.
Furthermore, and I know this will be controversial, the OP specifically asked about NLSIU. I spoke about NLSIU and other T1 law schools in my post. With all due respect to everyone at NLUJ/GNLU, etc., those law schools are not commonly considered T1 by recruiters from T1 law firms. That's just the fact. I am not saying that those law schools are bad, but they aren't considered in the same league as NLSIU/NLUD/NALSAR/JGLS.
I hope this version aligns with your intended meaning and addresses your concerns regarding grammar and spelling. Let me know if you need further assistance!
To clarify further, while Jindal only places around 180 students through the OCS, and only approximately 30 to 35 students secure positions in T1 firms, these students are indeed competitors for other students, including those from T1 NLUs like NLSIU, who are striving to secure jobs at T1 firms.
My argument remains valid: the rise of other law schools has made it more difficult for students at T1 NLUs, such as NLSIU in this case, to secure good placements.

I hope that answers you query.
Poor people do already deal with apathy from everyone else. They don’t need performative rich kids making leftist politics all about them as well. Jgls students are the worst offenders across any university that I’ve seen. They’re the least bothered with materialist concerns . They’re also the most performative about their so called activism. Someone had to call them out and humble them a little I think.
Don’t pivot to whataboutery because you don’t like that what I’m saying has a ring of truth.
This was before SKDR too. It’s gotta do with current powers being inhospitable and resentful of successful alumni. The lack of good mentorship or an intellectual community. And a serious degradation in standards and rigor in the classroom. And honestly - sometimes just mob like bad behaviour by students.
2-4 people get selected in foreign firms,
5-8 people get selected in top-tier foreign LLMs/BCLs,
20-25 people start with top tier law firms,
15-20 people start with boutique/lesser known firms,
20-25 people start as in-house counsels with corporates (and many live happy lives with WLB and I'm pretty jealous of that),
10-20 people start with litigators, out of which more than half are papa's boys,
Almost noone has to join LPOs,
And some 5-10 people go into academia, often after that foreign LLMs - and with JGU hiring almost everyone at competitive pay, they're hardly sages.
Of course, a lot of these overlap by virtue of starting as one and soon witching to another. I also want to add that off late, a lot of people go into non-law fields too, most commonly going for MBAs or consultancy firms. :)

CAM too is expanding quite well in Real Estate.
Just give le mocks from telegram, analyse them rigorously and pick up any monthly compendium and stick to it, you’ll be good to go
Until that happens, please advise on purchasing health insurance. Am in mid 20s, buying coverage for first time. Any tips and tricks? Will be helpful to navigate.
But I'm not an Assistant Professor. I have been rejected thrice for the post of Assistant Prof for the University I'm working at. Of course I know I may not be good enough and the decision was fair but that doesn't reduce the sting. The current job is such that there's no direction- you could be teaching, preparing modules, doing clerical jobs, doing TA job and so on. it just feels that I don't belong here, that I am only good for a Guest Faculty job at a private university. Maybe not even that.
When I open LinkedIn or Twitter (X), all I see are my more accomplished colleagues. Some are having another publication, some are doing their
PhD from Oxbridge, some are becoming Senior Associates at Law Firm, some are working to change tech policy while some are at least Assistant Professor at a University. I am neither of them. Feel like a mediocre teacher some of whom I despised in law school.
Sorry for the rant. This forum is the only forum where I can rant anonymously.

What kind of life do we live? I believe in a higher power and I’m sure they pity the lives we have. This isn’t what they meant for us to do. Most days once I’m out of the office I can’t remember where I parked my car, was it on the 1st floor garage? No I parked there last week, why am I remembering that today? Probably because everyday is exactly the same. I still can’t find my car.
Slaving my life away and for what? So these rich assholes can keep getting richer, our bosses and their bosses will get a decent cut themselves, so they keep mum, bragging about how they got to where they are by slaving their youth away, acting like the sun gets closer the more you chase it but really all they were chasing was a dim lamp at midnight, too ashamed to admit they wasted their life away so they compensate by making us waste ours the exact same way.
How about a change of scenery, that would be nice..no, it’s near-impossible to move laterally abroad in this field. Be it a masters degree or headhunting a headhunter, nothing even came close to guaranteeing a chance abroad, not in this job. I knew this would be the case, but that didn’t stop me from pursuing this profession. I wanted to be different. I didn’t want to work in finance like all the other kids in my school.
It’s not too late, I know it can be worse, much worse. I’m switching professions, I’m getting that foreign MBA, regain some youth and maybe waste away working in retail for a bit, get yelled at by some old white woman, mostly because she hates the color of my skin. I think I’ll enjoy studying and working again, making connections till I graduate, starting this same bs cycle again but this time I’ll go much higher. Manager, senior manager, COO, CEO. Hell maybe I’ll even join the board, make the chairperson. Why stop there? I’ll start my own company. Maybe I’ll lose everything I own but maybe, just maybe I’ll win it all. And then they can all slave away for me. The cycle repeats but this time I’ll have a nice padded seat to sit on and handles to hold.
Basics + Judgements= Great knowledge.
That’s what will assist you.
Ias has more wider range to "show his power"
But if they come face to face or in court judge have more power
Though judge have more power but if someone get a chance to become an ias officer or judge most of the people will select ias in my opinion because ias get respect every where
So for me both are equal in larger view
China is the biggest competitor to USA, literally 2nd most powerful in the world, Korea has a per capita income of 30,000 dollars, 5 crore population, 2 trillion dollar gdp, with land area smaller than telangana
Best of luck, you will need it.
