I think it's really interesting that places like Ashok and Jindal, which cater to a very wealthy and privileged section of the population, are taking up leftβwing/anti-capitalist causes that are usually associated with places like JNU and Jadavpur.

The vision that they had for India was of a modern republic that would stand above differences of religion, caste, region, and language. That republic would focus on improving the lives of all without dishing out benefits in the name of group affiliation. Group affiliation will never allow the country to modernize and industrialize.
The Japanese also had a stifling caste system (including notions of purity before someone suggests that the Indian caste system is different), but what broke that system was not the recognition and empowerment of group identity but true industrialization. Development is the greatest equalizer for any nation. The Congress of today has lost this vision of India by giving into street veto in the name of caste and region in particular. Indira Gandhi began this rot. Rajiv tried to stop it and would have definitely stopped it in his second term had he not been assassinated (the irony is that the present leadership gave into DMK's blackmail on even Rajiv's assassination).
Nehru had the strength to go to UP and Bihar and call out caste divisions, while the present Congress promised a division of the nation along the lines of caste affiliation. The Congress has lost its way by competing with the narrow and feudal-minded regional parties whose only agenda is to make themselves rich through corruption and masking it in the name of social justice.
But again, the present generation knows more about critical race theory than our founders, so no wonder their vision of India is just Black Lives Matter translated into the Indian context.
Who are they kidding? Most will adopt to corrupt ways in a revenge mode, as soon as they manage to clear.

And as far as fake data goes, look at NUJS NIRF 2024 submission. You guys are claiming 20 lakhs as median salary. NLUD seems to have finally calculated it to around 14 lakhs. And guess what, we'll still rank ahead of you NIRF? Keep shouting fake data all you like, no student who takes CLAT/AILET today will prefer NUJS over NLUD.
Their minions like Dhruv rathee and others will surely cry dictatorship but will enjoy other 5 years of modi earning large amount of money from social media while not telling why congress is sinking titanic.
I really hope this sh*T party dies and a good party takes over as opposition.
People may call me andhbhakt and I really dont care
You dont have to be bjp supporter to know why congress is failing
is there any infra related promise in this manifesto or development related ?
Politics is now not about castes and they need to understand.
Best thing to do now is to kick these congress members out of opposition with those advisors of rahul gandhi and have able leaders at top of congress
He is planning to hack evms after seeing Congress manifesto
Public has come out in large numbers in roads to vote for congress
They have promised caste census like bihar and the development that happened after caste census in bihar. Currently bihar is on road to become economic power in next few years.
1. They are just 1% of these people who have nothing significant left to achieve in life honestly. They do law either just to get a bar license for practice or to explore a new vocation (read the case of a retired army officer who was denied a bar license after 25 years of service due to contempt of court ). So privileged is the right word for them, not diverse. And Idk why there is no age limit to do LLB.
2. The kind of liberty 3-year LLB provides for any tom-dick and Harry to enroll is criminal. Can you do engineer after 10 years or work ex? No. Aside from the aforementioned 1% , I don't see any good crowd in 3-year LLB colleges, mostly average people who made a switch or goons who want to enter politics. And what alumni base are you speaking of? How many 3-year llb people are entrepreneurs, businessmen, incubators or even doing anything apart from what 5-year ppl are doing? utter bs. Stop associating yourself with such privileged people who have an exit option anytime they want.
The only point I agree with is the newer NLUs and 3 year llb are both equally adding tot eh clutter of incompetent legal graduates in the country. Look at Delhi University, 2000 grads in a year and less than 1% are in the equality bracket, 35% don't even graduate or drop out. And don't ever compare yourself with CLAT and Ailet crackers, they are already in a better spot than you by passing the exam.
We do what lawyers do, you do it for diversity crap. end of the story . .....
It's for United States clients. US Clients prefer firms with DEI initiatives. Most US firms are affiliated to Democrats party there.
South India is cleaner. But the cleanliness culture is not there in Tamil Nadu NLU or even the NIT there in Tiruchirappalli.
So basically you still didn't show any metric where your students are doing better other than a sour grapes syndrome. As for your current faculty being better than NUJS or NALSAR, that's just your unsubstantiated opinion and not any objective metric, especially since you have not been taught by any faculty from NUJS or NALSAR. In terms of objective criterion like publication, your faculty are not at all ahead. You should really learn how to argue while trying to act superior. As for smaller batch size or domicile quota, since it's not making your students do better than those from NUJS or NALSAR in any way, therefore it's irrelevant in the context of discussion. And NIRF race? You are the only one who put any importance to it, despite having been caught to submit fake data.
So once again, it got proven that all your flexing is just rhetoric, there is nothing substantial behind it.
Now the wait for CoP begins
AIBE 17 batch has not gotten their CoP yet, and the results were out in last week of April, 2023
AIBE is a joke
BCI is a tragicomedy
Any other teams to consider - please help.
Sheβs just supposed to take it on the chin ? The harassment ? Shall we send some folks to grope you before every class and see how you handle? And the less said about cogsash and whether it even works the better. Young women faculty are targeted by students and Jgls and the pattern is clear after all these years and the admin doesnβt do a thing about it. Sheβs not even the only case from last year.
All these so called experts in sexual harassment law and you cannot figure out to have her trade sections with a colleague so she doesnβt have to teach people who were harassing her ?
What is even the point of making someone teach topics theyβre uncomfortable with ? Like thatβs not gonna change because you guys canβt be bothered to match faculty interest with course. And if she had to teach stuff like pornography- I understand why she might be uncomfortable doing that in a class where the students are literally sexually assaulting her. Itβs disgusting to hide behind some β she should have known better , she should handle this by herself , she should be able to teach anything we ask her to β
Our only major problem had been a stagnant administration but with our new VC Harpreet Kaur that's clearly not what's in store for at least the next five years. Considering our limited funding and the locational disadvantage the university has managed to outdo itself and the students work harder than ever.
Users here feel the need to pull down NLUJ in order to bring up their own NLUs rather than rely on the merits of their own achievements

Just FYI, its maths, not math. Its Mathematics and hence Maths. Not Math.
You don't say Mathematic, unless its an adjective.
Americans are wrong, they are not to be trusted with language. Do not use American English.
Ciao.
After that, we should have the Constitution of India amended and have its outdated and often misused terms like "socialist" and βsecularβ replaced with more precise and ideologically agnostic terms like "equitable".
As a matter of fact, Legally India should keep one thread pinned on page 1 dedicated to collating ideas/ thoughts to update and improve the phrasing and structure of the Constitution. If there can a be dream team for cricket fans why can't there be a dream constitution for lawyers?
And yes, the absence of a Hindi Rashtra is an Islamic theocracy. You can see how much of India is stripped of its Hindu identity (at best, like urban areas, parts of South India etc) if not completely Islamised (parts of Hyderabad, most of Kerala etc) where there is no strong Sangh foothold.
Its a thankless job, but the Sangh parivar for all their follies have done a commendable part in keeping alive some Hindu identity (however distorted it has become lately with the cow obsession). What it needs is reform, not braindead rejection leading to an Iran like situation.
Thoughts? In fact, there are a lot of NLU grads preparing for UPSC and a lot of comments on LI claiming that being an IAS is better than being a law firm partner.

One girl is a CA.
One more is from IIM A.
- Aur kitna value addition aur diversity chahiye aapko? None of the 3 are there for the "alleged" tag. All 3 are here for good legal and comparatively subsidised education. They all have a better alumni base than NLS. And they add value to the class. Leave IIT/IIM, look at how many top founders and funded companies are specifically from IIT KGP and IIM A.
In comparison, what value addition do the CLAT kids bring to NLS? At least, after cracking Advance, many IIT guys gain confidence, use their tag to start companies and employ people. You guys do the same thing which every law student in India does - publish in paid journals, aspire and dream to be in Law firms, go for LLMs (JGLS wale bhi wahi kar rahe hai), professorships, judiciary. Creativity aur entrepreneurial spirit gayi tel lene.
Actually you are the ones due to which newer NLUs are gaining ground and you guys don't bring any extra value addition to the university and the alleged "Tag".
Chances of job depends on networking capability primarily in all these cases. Neither US nor Germany welcomes Indian LLBs with open arms.
This attitude is likely not gonna get you anything.
All associates across the world are miserable, but the UK & USA ones are miserable sitting in better luxury.
Just looking at the clause, 'in the event there are substantial changes in our company's circumstances' has no relation to the candidate's circumstances - even a long reach to include the continually postponed exams as a 'circumstance' would not hold up. The entirety of the clause has Dobby Ads as the subject, so no, based on this alone, there is no way voidance can be done. Your in house lawyer has shafted you with this clause.
Technically you can do whatever you want to since you lot are based in NY and not India, but at least contact the admin of the college by getting their number from google or college website and confirm if the continuous delays have happened. Pro tip: if under a state university or an NLU, such delays in final exams don't happen.
On a serious note, really? Probably wait till you actually start law school? Relax a bit. I really don't know how law firms would view applications by 'incoming law students'.
Atleast NALSAR does not organise moots and allows their own collegiate team to participate (cough cough IBC moot).
