Salary partners parasite on other teams including corporate or tax or cap markets or become execution partner doing all the good work for the equity.
Generally salary partners in early years not much expected to bring clients but just to execute and generate billable.
Everything dynamic is subjective depending upon the firm and team structure.
So a lot has been written by many scholars on the above topic, the problem is not only obscenity but also the objectification in the name of choices and somehow imposing the fashion choices of West upon India through subtle marketing and the right wing has pointed it out which made sense to a large section of population hence the retreat.
So in a comment someone has argued that go to Jindal or other Top college it is a very normal dress.
However Jindal belongs to India and the right wing was simply saying (impliedly) that the Ad does not reflect Bharat.
India that is Bharat or Bharat that is India. In my humble opinion, India and Bharat still are two different realities.
The ad team must have realised that they were unable to sense the culture prevalent in India and that it is impossible to defend it after a group calls it out because 99% of population will not wear that Dress during Rakhi and I would be glad to be corrected if Kurti/ Saree has been replaced by Bralette in India that too especially during Traditional ocassion.
Now on Capitalism and it's impact on fashion choices:-
I will argue on boys because that is ofcourse safer option, if you observe recent ad trends for example Veet Men hair removal cream starring Varun Dhawan in which he argues for clean chest without hair is better while asking what's your choice, now if through marketing companies establish that boys/Men with chest hair are worst in attractiveness everyone has to buy that product because it is natural to have hair on chest but one cannot sell a product then.
You can sell a product when you can establish that your body/culture is not normal and it needs to change.

i will reeally appreciate all replies
Why is TaxnTrade wanting to be hived off? Because (i) TnT are the most profitable practices within ELP and they have been subsidising the rest. (ii) the two Co-Founders (SAN & Sword) hold the bulk of the equity and take home most of the profits, though they do not bill much but spend a lot on marketing themselves. The due diligence by Dhruva has been done with a lot of fanfare, drumbeating and is being unnecessarily prolonged, just to reduce ELP's brand value. Ultimately, whatever Dhruva pays SAN and the Sword for the ELP brand, will be based on its value, after the degradation that the brand is currently undergoing. SAN evidently doesn't want to play second fiddle to the TnT partners, the senior most of whom are around 10 years younger than him. However, he doesn't have a choice. Why is it that SAN and the Sword are unable to force Dhruva's hand and compel them to make an offer for the ELP brand right away? Because, there is no other buyer on the horizon. It's Dhruva or nobody and the TnT partners want an exit.
If SAN and Sword were to give up a decent percentage of their equity, if SAN could agree to cut down on his personal marketing (all those business class trips to various foreign jurisdictions to speak on topics he has little clue about), if RJ, NS and SN could be given more control over the management of ELP, TnT will probably stay on and will say goodbye to Dhruva . SAN and Sword's plan to set up a new company that will give AI services to the ELP rump that will be left behind after the TnT exit, to pay advisory fees to that AI company which will then become a unicorn from which SAN and the Sword will exit from at a huge profit and valuation, is just a pipe dream that only those who do not do actual legal work can nurture. It is also ruining the careers of so many young lawyers.
Please wake up and smell the coffee SAN-Sama and Sword-Sama!
Thank you
Everything is changing very fast in positive manner.
If money is no bar, its a great choice. If money is a bar its not worth to pull out an education loan. Simply speaking its better off to stay at somewhere else because the FEES no denying is ABSURD.

Separately, Genius Messiah also introduced multiple undergrad courses, overstretched the faculty and resources and diluted the brand.
So, No. Its not because of reservation. And certainly not because of the Govt. Its because GM wanted to get into the local good books to sponsor his grand expansion plans.
I wanted to solve tough problems at the intersection of law and tech. Went through very different pathway of trying to build legal tech products , strategize it , under stand it way deeply( sometimes obsess over it) and fail at it. It gives that balance between innovation, legal ,building thrill and if you went well the freedom to work remotely with decent enough pay( a intersection of job satisfaction and work life balance rarely possible in lndian legal industry) I converted few legal tech roles which were low paying though the work was interesting(that was my first criteria to apply ), though not joined . Later on , I got a balanced one. Just to give an idea , if you are good at it , you can also get around 50k for even less than 3-4 hours of work everyday, remotely. But the tough part is to find these opportunities you have to go pretty deep into legal tech job market as well as good at what you do and not bluffing. In general, get around a lakh for normal office work hours. The salaries mentioned above are for freshers. Don't go towards law firms innovation teams in terms of learning but can give a good idea of user and adoption experience.
The reality is the job description and roles for the legal tech are still evolving atleast in Indian legal tech market.
Your best bet is to leverage your alumni network.
If you want to leave law entirely and shift to creative writing /arts/film etc there are people who have done it, but keep in mind that it involves a lot of financial privilege.
For examples of people who have done this you can look up Kavitha Rao and Ajay Patri. Gautam Bhatia also does it part time but he still does legal work on the side.
