The second season of the Mooting Premier League started in September 2010 and includes 54 mooting competitions and updated scoring criteria and follows on the from the successful first edition of the MPL.
The MPL 2 is by international magic circle firm Allen & Overy with a prize fund of Rs 1.2 lakh for the top five colleges at the end of the season.
The leaderboard
As of March 15, 2011, Nalsar Hyderabad leads the MPL 2 season standings with 146 points, followed by NUJS Kolkata and NLU Delhi with 119 and 101 points respectively. Following are the top 10 colleges currently leading the standings:
