It would be so easy for trolls to continue softly trolling if they just made a bona fide attempt to explain their world view / bigotry and allow genuine discussion and criticism of their views, but it appears this is too much to wish for.

The point is not that it was or was not Muslims that ragged and beat up a fellow student.
The point is that you literally ONLY posted this thread BECAUSE they were Muslims, and wouldn't have cared if it was Hindu students ragging others for not chanting Jai Shri Ram (and if it does come up, you would not call or equate them with fundamentalists, or dismiss / excuse them as 'fringe' elements, correct?).
In a similar vein to your facetious argument, you could demonise and generalise other communities and say "Gandhi did not kill himself but a Hindu did", "Indira Gandhi was murdered not by Christians but by Sikhs", "Rohingya did not get murdered by Muslims but by Buddhists", "US high school students do not get shot by wokes but by incels", or, since we're in ridiculous internet-hate-speech territory here, might as well include some references to Nazi Germany.
Maybe others are pulling back? Most likely a temporary technical issue though, or AVG servers being overloaded - blocking of VPNs by government seems unlikely, considering they already have a law in place against VPN companies.
Stop trolling until more facts are available. And even though Hyderabad does not have a BJP government, if there's a case it's unlikely the police will sweep this under the carpet, unless the alleged accused are related to politicians or something...

His statement that "India's intellectual class is anti-India" is a bit trollish, probably also on part of India Today, and mostly made to attract attention.
Some of his arguments that UP is less violent than Rwanda, Bihar is more democratic than the Democratic Republic of Congo fall a bit flat though, no?
What do you think would work best, as a system? A way of filtering out / hiding sections you don't like, or a way to subscribe / favourite certain sections, so they show up top of your feed?
However, you could also argue that it's a lottery and doesn't do enough on that front and fast enough and othe programmes would be more effective (unless your argument is, screw it, let's not do anything to uplift SC and STs.
The argument I still haven't heard is why it is not possible to have means-tested reservations also, based purely on income? Do people just cheat too much on their tax returns for this to be feasible?
Would apply to things like dating or JK Rowling getting rejected by publishers repeatedly initially...
So if you're passionate about law as a career, keep at it and keep applying even if it's not tier 1, see if you can do some litigation work in the meantime spending time in court, while you're waiting for a corporate job, or volunteer a legal NGO or otherwise fill your time and CV while you wait.
