Cam isn't firing. But someone from khaitan did reach out to me asking for vacancies.
CAM cannot afford to fire anyone. They hold onto every employee with fevikwik because the attrition is so bad.
Why is this contested? This is definitely true
Are you at Khaitan? Can you please elaborate why this is "definitely true"?
You can reach out to one of your insiders. They can give you a list of all recent "exits" vs number of recent hires.
Exits are not the same as a mass firing though, no? Can those exits be explained by other factors and are they significantly higher than the average?
Can someone please confirm? Would it affect incoming A0s from the 2023 batch (not just at KCO but across law firms?)

LOL. While there are several underperformers in the firm, firm has never fired nor will ever fire anyone. That’s just not who they are.
They won’t fire.. they’ll stop giving you work / won’t promote / give shitty bonus and/or increment
Spot on. You forgot the part where you are ignored and other associates are told shit about you that you leave by yourself.
This is so cruel. Do the partners talk shit about one associate to another or who is it that does this ?
That's not new though, that's been Khaitan's leave-them-to-sink-in-the-pool approach for years
is there firing at partner levels also??? was ▮▮▮ partner Mumbai fired or he left on his own??
You're referring to the indirect tax partner?

Kindly moderate faster. Why are we not hearing these murmurs in office :/
Why did everyone in the litigation team of Delhi leave?
I have recently joined the litigation practice and have seen string of resignations recently. Can someone shed some light on this?
Firing or not. We have received few CVs from associates. Makes one wonder why is a tier 1 associate applying to tier 2 firms.
CAM has a perpetual firing policy. The problem with CAm is it keeps firing the junior employees when it should be firing the useless senior employees who don't know anything about the law.
Any more clarity on this anyone? Please tell if things are alright in Khaitan - currently evaluating an offer. The supposed firings relate to which office and which practice?
Things are fine.

They are not even ready to fire the dead weight.
Don't! A number of associates are being threatened about their time utilization. It is not the associates problem if the firm does not have work. That's the job of partners to ensure their team has adequate work. You'd better opt for any other option.
This is bull shit. They're asking for CVs everywhere. Therefore, this news is definitely incorrect.
