Hey guys, just wondering if its career suicide to join NDAs fund team in 2024. Im currently in house at an AIF and i reaaaaaaaly want to join a firm. Rn NDA seems liek the most likely possible choice for me to join a firm. Have heard some interesting stories about the firm tho. have 1.6 years of PQE. LMK thanks :).

There are default headings which you cant change like COMPANY, TITLE, FAX.
I just inserted these wherever details change and then change the headings by inserting what i want them to insert. Like DT Name, DT Address, CIN, etc.
Hence changing in one place will reflect wherever youve inserted the document property insertion.
Its a pain setting up. But makes life easier in the long run.
UPDATE: Ive gone and modified the documents so that when updating the details such as the Trustee/Issuer details in one part of the document, it will reflect throughout the document.
Ive done this for all the data that will change between transactions.
So the DTD hes given is the standard template that we use for our transactions. The assignment isnt for any specific transaction. He just wants me to "Reduce the placeholders" in general.
So my boss, the GC, gives me a Debenture Trust Deed and asks me to "See what I can do with the Placeholders to reduce our turn around time". What does this even mean? He gave these instructions while hes on vacation.
What could he possibly mean? What kind of what does he want me to do with the DTD?
So, I working in a t1 manufacturing company and was heavily underpaid. AIF offered me 30% increment and got only 6lpa. Benefits are great. IK im waay below market as confirmed by my colleague. Going to be heading into performance reviews (joined only 2 months back and company has quarterly reviews) and would like to negotiate to atleast bring my salary to market standards. I live in Chennai if that helps.
So to summarise:
1. What would be the average salary for this position.
2. Any tips on how to negotiate my salary.
3. I have been doing my work very dilligently and have received praise from others as well.
