A basic LLB is more than enough to practice anywhere. Instead work on increasing your work experience. If you need to move forward, maybe a MBA will help. But DO NOT DO AN LLM !
Whether for foreign llm or MBA. Experience is better than no experience.
US LLM from Ivy League with NY/ California bar places you in a much better position to get a job in a foreign law firm. The experience and exposure that you get is also very important.
So if you can afford it, then please do it.
