First 4-5 years is good to explore. But stick it out after that as adapting to a new workplace at a senior level is never easy.
If you happen to be in a nice supportive team, don't keep switching. Money isn't everything, sometimes the juice is not worth the squeeze given the rampant toxicity in this field.
Your new pay is based on your past pay, altho this for lower levels. No idea about SA+. But yeah switches are mostly for culture and pay.
It makes sense only for those stuck in boutiques and mid-sized firms, not those in T1s.
