15 lakhs is the fixed, bonus cap from what iβve heard is 3 lakhs (they never tell officially) and made 5 lakhs in bill share (locked in from July, after completing one year on the firm)
Expecting the total compensation from last year to be around 22/23 lakhs
Practice Area: Civil/CommercialPQE: 2024 Batch
- Month and Year(so that we know how old the figures are): June β26
- Compensation: 3.6 LPA fixed
26.4L + 6L = 32.4L
SAM, CAM, Trilegal, KCO, AZB, JSA
KCO SA 1 (FY 25-26)
31.2 Fixed + 14 bonus
Can other people also comment their bonuses at other levels
Rating 3
Fixed - 25.5 L
Bonus 8L (very difficult to get full bonus. Almost no one gets it).
Itβs another thing that getting 5H is very difficult.
- Practice Area: Litigation
- PQE: 10
- Month and Year(so that we know how old the figures are): March 2026
- Compensation: 54 lakh (all fixed) and no bonus
Firm: KCO (SA1)
Fixed: 31.2
Variable (letβs see)
retainer increment is ass though, iβm told a few people in cap marks (a1/a2 levels) got 60-80k in YEARLY increment
Corporate
2020 batch
FY2025-26
27 fixed + 13.5 variable
In the longer run, of course, the sheet will survive, but it will take time for people to stumble upon this thread and update the sheet. I wanted people to have a quick fix for this shuffle season.
Whoever is the admin for the sheet, if you are seeing this, pls add a message somewhere, or a column in the sheet for people to add date and practice area as well.
16 + 4 makes sense.
Fixed - 25
Variable - TBD
This will change april onwards when promoted to A3 - so yes you will make more than 30 (more than 35 to be precise) 3 years after graduating
19.8 + 5.5
19.5 + 4.5 = 24L around
Very very very difficult to get more than 80% bonus even with everything perfect
18L (fixed) + 5-7L (bill share) + 4L (bonus)
= 27-30L
-Practice Area: TMT
- PQE: Almost 4
- Month and Year: March 2026
- Compensation: 17 + 4
A lot of us still refer to the crowdsourced sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ltk2xnERP1OWklq60BEsJFhl3eSuQX7nQEdo_v37ggs/edit?gid=1214652949#gid=1214652949) from 3 years ago. Itβs super helpful, but there is no way to know how recent the compensations are.
I can't think of a way to keep that sheet updated in the long-term (unless people start adding dates next to compensations), so maybe we can just use this thread to share recent compensations?
Feel free to share as much or as little as you want, keeping in mind your team/firm size.
Format (just to keep things consistent):
- Firm and City (or maybe just mention tier: Tier I/II/III, Boutique, Litigation Chambers):
Practice Area:
- PQE:
- Month and Year(so that we know how old the figures are):
- Compensation:
This has to be a collaborative effort.
