2023 batch ~~ people at KCO, CAM, Trilegal earn around 27-28 LPA with good rating. This is as of March 2026. Most tier 1s pay same ac
So are you telling me that even after three years I won't touch 30 LPA?
A2 at CAM mumbai (2023 batch) highest band- 21.6 fixed, 5.4 variable and 1.5 MPD.

This will change april onwards when promoted to A3 - so yes you will make more than 30 (more than 35 to be precise) 3 years after graduating
CAM SA1s as getting 40 lakhs but sir as an A3 would get β€œmore than 35 lakhs” 🀣
SA1 top rating + MPD is around 48, so guess your friend isn't cutting it.
Sir, get into a better team. Where your partners meet their targets- you will be able to make 47 as an SA1 (including mpd ofc)
keep including mpd when no one even gets the full bonus CAM PR, maybe a couple of corp teams that’s it
This is false- in my 3 years here have always got full bonus and full MPD. Can confirm the numbers above. Regardless, it is a shitty soul sucking job which leaves no time for your personal life so even though the numbers are correct, doesnt feel worth it.
Partner meeting target has nothing to do with salary and bonus in CAM. If your partner rates you as 5H then you get 100% bonus + MPD and increment is also 20-30%.

It’s another thing that getting 5H is very difficult.
exactly kids these days just faff, β€œget into a better team” - kiddo i’ve been in cam even when you were in law school
2023 batch JSA

18L (fixed) + 5-7L (bill share) + 4L (bonus)

= 27-30L
no because can we connect im an incoming A0 😭
I just love the fact that someone is privacy-conscious and is aware of ProtonMail. Kudos to whoever you are!
AZB Mumbai, 2023 batch

19.5 + 4.5 = 24L around

Very very very difficult to get more than 80% bonus even with everything perfect
What's the current salary for freshers SAMwalebhaiyya
Thank you so much. I was wondering about what is the actual breakdown, with conflicting opinions saying it's 17 + 3, 16.5 + 3.5 , full 20 fixed (although likely it was trollish) , etc.

16 + 4 makes sense.
bonuses are usually 100% in a good team (corp, bnf, cap marks) so that’s there

retainer increment is ass though, i’m told a few people in cap marks (a1/a2 levels) got 60-80k in YEARLY increment
Is it same for everyone or subject to negotiations?
same for everyone joining straight out of college, might be less if you are lateral-ing from a t2 firm
Oh Nice. So it's not according to college right ? (NLU-Non NLU divide, famous and not so famous college divide , etc)
no absolutely not, there’s no college discrimination at ALL only last firm discrimination - this is how it happens everywhere JSA/azb/tri/kco
Is there a hiring freeze at SAM right now, when does it open again?
What BS - SAM A3s are getting 25 total - the lowest paying t1
OP here. 23 batch ~I got my bonus letter at CAM. My pay for FY 25-26 is 26.9 LPA ( bonus included) -5 M rating
- Firm and City: Boutique Firm, Delhi
-Practice Area: TMT
- PQE: Almost 4
- Month and Year: March 2026
- Compensation: 17 + 4
why not ask people to add to the crowdsourced sheet, we assume it as current, ask the HRs to update it, these threads would get lost but the google doc would survive
HR dont even know how to recruit people properly
I don't think anyone here is confusing KCO as Kochhar & Co.
What's the fresher salary at Khaitan as on 2026?
Boutique firm

Corporate

2020 batch

FY2025-26

27 fixed + 13.5 variable

Sam GC 2024 batch? What are your new numbers. And how much variable do you expect to crystallise?
TRILEGAL A3

Rating 3

Fixed - 25.5 L

Bonus 8L (very difficult to get full bonus. Almost no one gets it).
How bonus does one get? And btw what's salary breakdown for an A0 at Trilegal in 2026
16.5+3, bonus is based on your rating, fully up to your boss, but A0s almost never get full amount (logic is it's only 9 months of work so pro-rata)
Is 9 lakhs standard, or at a higher end?

Can other people also comment their bonuses at other levels
Other folks from 2024 batch, comp please?

SAM, CAM, Trilegal, KCO, AZB, JSA
2024 batch. KCO. 18.15 + Bonus (TBD, but if it's less than 4L then basically the 2025 batch got paid more than us, which would be just...absurd.)
Is 100 percent bonus a general practice in this 4L component? And could you tell the upcoming numbers (both fixed plus bonus)
