There was a post asking if any other NLU alumni in match famous NLSIU alumni. Watch out for the NLUD alumni in the UPSC. They are your future ambassadors, secretaries, and possibly future ministers after retirement.
2. Adding to the list... Akshat Baldwa (AIR 173) of NLSIU is also to be added to the list of law students successful at this. His achievement is of particular significance, because of his complete blindness and his having navigated, despite that, a system which is structurally ableist and hostile to the disabled.
NB: Not from NLSIU at all - indeed, I didn't even attend an NLU. Just a blind law student highlighting the journey of a fellow blind person whom I hugely admire.
3. Is it known if any of these persons is likely to join the foreign service? Akshat would sure as hell get in with 173 - or am I being too sure of all this? NB: Don't jump on me, my knowledge of UPSC is very limited.
Barring rare exceptions, for a young person in Bangalore or Kolkata, civil services is NOT the default career choice.
