If you work yourself to bone is not a reliable metric so far. We don’t know what your potential is we only know what the track record is which is admittedly not great. It would be silly to take out loans and betting on everything radically changing in the next few years and that too to get into a college that cannot guarantee placement.
Btw I got placed
Remember that it’s now very hard to get into a top NLU for GC students who are ineligible for EWS or domicile quota, and rely solely on the merit list seats. So they look towards Jindal as their primary option (preferring it to a lower tier NLU or Symbi/Amity).
BA. LLB crowd in JGLS is really rich, when I tell rich they are actually rich. You are better of at another college. You would never be able mingle or make friends - it would be really hard.
Not only Jindal - Ashoka, Flame University, Fancy British Universities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar are also full of really rich folks.
While I was interning at Bangalore High Court - we had a JGLS Co intern. He would get picked up in a chauffeur driven Toyota Vellfire while we used to go to cheap pubs in BMTC buses. He had his own friends group, social circle and hobbies. Like him I have met many JGLS folks - nice people, but really rich and lives in another universe.
Cultural differences are huge. You would never be able to adjust or make genuine friendships. You would self pity yourself throughout college. Try joining maybe Symbi/Christ.
