unfortunately, they are only interested in enjoying their power trip or clicking photos with judges.
For law scopus is quite patchy and skewed towards international and interdisciplinary research. Many of the good core legal doctrinal journals - the ones that publish doctrinal analysis or case commentaries are absent or underrepresented. And then there are plenty of really low quality legal articles that get published in scopus listed journals which has nothing to do with law. They merely help inflate the citation counts without reflecting the scholarly value of that article.
How is NALSAR only slightly behind NLSIU (83) and gap with NUJS larger? Kuch bhi analysis.
2. MBA and so called MPP is a scam. Ask any serious aspirant whether they'd join a "NLU" for manager courses. They'd laugh at you. Even tier 3 MBA colleges give you decent job, it's cause MBA itself is a better degree than simply law.
3. Check out the recent faculty recruitment and tell me if you seen any decent faculty.
4. I was in one of the first batches of NLS, so I've definitely seen the fall in their so called reputation, especially abroad.

2. Where is the money for such hiring? NLSIU could build because it gets a lot of money from distance learning and consultancies it does for various central government institutions. Eg: It trains IRS and ICLS officers.

Let me repeat: Sudhir is not corrupt and he has done an excellent job in NLU alumni faculty recruitment. In comparison, certain VCs have brazenly stolen money and hired their stooges from mediocre colleges. Have you learnt nothing from the student protests that took place pre-Covid across NLUs?
- NLUD and NALSAR only a little bit behind NLSIU. The reason NLSIU keeps winning is that they get 100/100 in perception. Remove the perception score and they will not be #1.
- The gap with NUJS is larger and that's because NUJS is doing badly in perception.
- To an extent, perception is about outward appearance (a nice website and an Oxford-educated VC who speaks English well helps). However, corruption and bad administration also have an impact. So the other colleges shoudn't hate on NLSIU purely for having better PR. Say what you will about Sudhir Krishnaswamy, he is not corrupt. He does not embezzle money and he hires NLU alumni faculty with good qualifications, rather than keeping them out and hiring third-rate products from semi-rural colleges.
