Finally, the REAL RANKINGS ARE OUT...

TOP 5 - NLS, NLUD, NALSAR, NUJS & GNLU !

No Non-NLU in top 5. Definitely the best list so far.
NLUD 2.0 - MNLU Mumbai, is not even ranked in the top 40 of the country.
Could you believe if stuffing 3 people in a single room becomes the downfall of NLS. Lol. But increase in batch size and no accomodation is definitely a huge factor. Plus this branching out if law into management and other humanities subjects may cost NLUs.
Have u seen the newly recruited faculties at NLS? One of the profs is a Jindal grad from batch of 2023.
Such a biased summary. The gap between NLUD and NLSIU is more than 2 points and the gap between NLUD, NALSAR and NUJS is less than one point. Yet in your narrative, NLUD and NALSAR are catching up to NLSIU, while NUJS is lagging behind because of perception. Lol!
NALSAR is 79.50 and NUJS is 79.39.

How is NALSAR only slightly behind NLSIU (83) and gap with NUJS larger? Kuch bhi analysis.
NUJS has been ranked 4 or 5 consistently ever since NIRF started. What rise are you talking about?
This is probably the most accurate list. The only debatable inclusion is NLUD, which struggles with placements and has been losing good faculties lately.
Lol, itโ€™s been debatable for 8 years in a row? Give it a rest, troll, everyone knows you didnโ€™t fare well in the AILET.
NALSAR has been behind NLUD for the last eight years. Let's not be in confusion. It's not a coincidence, it's sheer excellence.
However, NLUD also fudges placement data, what is to say that they are not fudging other details.

Just a thought
Yet the gap between the 2 is less than one point. And so is the gap between NUJS and NLUD. As for superiority, the research score of NLUD has been languishing ever since RS left and so did almost all good faculty with him.
Not sure how my AILET score is relevant in responding to the factors that I had mentioned? If you had done well in AILET then please respond to the claims on placement and faculty movements only.
Those 2 parameters are still better than nearly every other NLU. Couldnโ€™t care what anyone of trolls thinks, NLUD is the only real NLU left in the country and will eventually end up as the best.
Better than every other NLU? NLUD's placement is behind that of 5 NLUs. It does not have any renowned law faculty left at all. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
This is also perhaps the first year when the gap between ranks 2,3 and 4 is so small.
โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ ! It's 8 times in a row; 2nd best. Soon to be at No.1.
In the RP (Research and Professional Practices) parameter, IIT KGP as usual gets the first position, followed by surprisingly NUJS and not NLSIU or NLUD!
after all the teaching and teaching related work that people do at NLS who gets time for research. Sudheer is no different from the previous VCs when it comes to research. NLS continues to be a primarily a teaching institution with very little intellectual output.
I agree. He doesn't even let PhD scholars research, let alone his faculty.
IITkgp is coasting through tech research, not legal ones. Look at their faculty page, none of them have any significant publications.
Which journal index is better than SCOPUS for law exactly?
Heinonline includes multiple shady journals too. And Washington's don't have a single Indian law journal at all.
Aww... What's stopping the NLUs from providing such minor input to the stem research happening in their own cities?
You're โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ for taking nirf ranking seriously when the likes of aligarh jamia saveetha are placed above nlus and chandigarh uni is placed about iit Hyderabad
Harpreet will do it after 3 years of her tenure, so that they get a good rank. She needs at least that time to repair the damage done by PPS. That's not a bad move at all.
They can't stand being humiliated again for not even being in the top 10. That's why they abstain.
NLUJ would probably be 15th or so. That's why they hide their tier 2 standards under the guise of being tier 1 by coaching institutes.
mate, many NLUS are worse than Saveetha. The lower tiered NLU students live with the impression that they are in some special place and that they are special. it's good to get over that impression asap. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
People are crying for top 5 rankings meanwhile the funniest part is NLIU Bhopal casually slipping near MNLUN
NLIU is definitely a tier 2 now. I would rank it below HNLU and NLUO.
Then why is NLSIU not scoring more in the consultancy parameter?
I guess how NIRF considers consultancy is different from our or NLS' definition.
Or because NLSIU does not really make money out of those things. Or because โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ senior faculty who used to get those things. Take your pick.
But their 3 year batch did get a Rhodes. That's still under the NLS brand.
When has Rhodes become a measurement for college ? It's more an individual accomplishment. It's like saying people who crack upsc is due to the university.
Nah, Rhodes definitely has a degree of association with the university. UPSC on the other hand is completely blind to that.
NUJS is doing really good....with a new good VC it might just catch up the other 3...
Absolutely not. The unfortunate condition of politics in the state is impeding the progress of NUJS.
