Just a correction 10L a year not being a concern would be more apt?
Are you daft? Domicile quota has been in place since 2015. The size of the quota may have increased over the years. There have been 3 Rhodes scholars from NUJS since then and at least one of them belonged to this group. Please quit trolling.
Yeah, right. I heard the 2025 batch, only one to graduate with the domicile quota in place produced more than 7 Rhodes scholars.
Since you never made it to the place, you are hardly qualified to judge the student quality there.
NUJS domicile produces far better students than general category students from most NLUs. People from such quota have gone ahead to win Rhodes. Just something you may wanna keep in mind.
Lol, this comment just shay all over the legacy of NUJS.
Go for it only if you are rich, and you said you come from a middle class family....avoid it. Spending 50 lakhs on a degree is absurd.
There’s a significant difference between placement quality of T2 and T1. While there can be overlaps, best to be risk-averse. Go for the NRI-sponsored quota.
Again, if it does not stretch your finances and give you and your parents a headache, go for it. If not, I’ll say it’s not worth it unfortunately.
May I know what are some of the other reasons you’re against this? Because We’ve looked into a bank that doesn’t need a collateral, has a reasonable rate of interest, and I can start paying back AFTER my 5 course is done.
While I agree about not taking a loan for NRI Sponsored, also would not advise taking the Bsc LLB course. There's been lots of drama regarding their merit in the batches that are there, and their placement remains unclear/not very promising.
Can you opt for the B.Sc. LL.B. course instead? I strongly advise you against taking such a loan. Also, at most banks, you would need to have collateral for educational loans above 7.5 lacs. I'm willing to offer you insights and guidance if needed. Good luck!
