If your mental health issues are based on getting friendzoned by a girl, they're not mental health issues. Don't downplay the genuine stressors in law school for stupid childish things
I am not at all romanticising the struggles, have through unbearable shit myself. Does anyone here think there’s a way of dealing with this though? Now, I face even more challenges because of sick people at my T1 firm. What are your ways of coping/dealing with it?
I can tell about a decade back. T3 NLUs still suffered from the same.
Fewer job opportunities is the main reason for me. It diminishes my hope for the future somehow and I just feel trapped in this place.
Pre NLU legal education wasn't rigorous enough.
Yet most of the legal luminaries hail from those days.
Social media and smartphones have fried the brains of Gen Z kids. Just see Adolescence on Netflix.
Yea it’s almost like the best students went to other colleges when nlus were not there. It’s ridiculous to compare 60/70 year old people to nlu alumni who are largely in their 40s and early 50s in terms of career progression.
No NLU alumni has emerged as a scholar extraordinaire in all these years. Many of them are in their 50s now. Rigorous legal education my foot!
These 60/70 year olds, made a name for themselves quite early in their career. Maybe say early 40s. Where are our so called best legal minds of the country, graduating out of top NLUs? Pushing papers and briefing these TLC law graduates ?
