Sure. Average lawyers. All designated, senior counsels, earning easily 5cr plus, with luxury cars, arguing high stake matters, and...? Yes average lawyer as held by some law student from nowhere or an associate in a firm doing clerical work
NUJS had its first batch graduate in 2004, NLUJ in 2007. Since then, it's all been NLUs. Even NALSAR's first batch graduated in 2001.
stop lying ffs. We know all the six who were part of the team personally, and none of them ever expressed any regret about this.
charity doesn't happen on an empty stomach. Breaking in litigation solely on merit isn't easy.
ummm... many! All of the above included. The lists of people being designated in all Courts now are mostly people who graduated post 2000
I was one of the students who were part of this back then. I don't need to see second hand reports. With the greatest respect to the departed, it was a foolish move to make students go and do that without any safety backup. Not befitting a mature adult legal academic.
Why don't you check how many DU or Symbi or other TLC grads who graduated after 2000 are now senior advocates, compared to contemporary NLU grads?
Not at all. The students had been encouraged to pull that stunt by the late Shamnad Basheer. He himself was not even in the city when it happened.

The thing with NLUs are that most don't actually join the practice, defeating the entire reason why NLUs were established in the first place. It takes a different tenacity to stick it out here
who is this prof? Could you share initials or the subject they teach?
AC son of former SC judge. RB son of former Cal HC judge.
The students didn't inform the university or take permission before going to do 'social service' outside. The faculty member who had instigated them was not present either. How is it the university or alumni's responsibility to bail them out?

I hope LI did not delete my comment? I merely said that one of those designated is the nephew of a former SC judge.
Bro reality is that many SLS grads become partner every year, even more than many T1 college grads.
lmao who calls Symbiosis an elite institution? It is elite neither in merit like NLUs or in affluence like Jindal
Who align this list is first gen? Sabyasachi Banerjee is the nephew of Justice UC Banerjee and I believe his father was an influential person in the legal profession as well.

What about the others?
