Those students are natives of Usa meanwhile you aren't. You can say Bye Bye to that Visa, since usa is quite strict in that sense.

You are the one begging them to let you in. Not the other way round. Quietly delete all your social media accounts and start putting up pro US government posts that are supportive of every viewpoint - Republican, Democrat, Libertarian etc. Start talking with a big of a twang and a drawl so your interview is as smooth as possible. 1. The point that "they have no business" asking for your social media IDs is very interesting, especially if you are a law student. How do you know what powers INS/CBP have or don't have? Also, are you assuming first amendment rights apply to you? Remembering that you do not hold a U.S. passport?

2. Remember what somebody else has pointed out, those are Americans, you are a foreigner. You are asking to go to their country.

It is their country, their laws. Yes, keep yourself away from all these useless and meaningless SM posts. If you have done so, then it may impact you. Please read the U.S. constitution. It makes clear that the rights are intended for citizens, not for other people.
