Faraz Khan has been announced by Anagram as their new partner, if M&A follows disputes and Cap Marks, Indus might well and truly be dead soon.
Cap marks and Elb already have new partners coming in by eom. They are already on the lookout to refill their transaction and dispute partners.
That’s fine but they were already struggling to make ends meet, they were at a tier 2 trying to act like a tier 1 at best, however, all their t1 lawyers and teams have left, they’ll relegate to tier 3 status.
drafting papers and linkedin posts is not a profitable practice
lol honestly if you think that's all they do you're truly a joke in in the field touch grass
What is trying to act like a Tier 1 supposed to mean. When they had tier 1 practice areas at that point, why wouldn't they be a Tier 1 firm?
What’s so hard understand, their clientele and billables apart from a few limited teams was not very wowza. You can have a tier 1 practice in a tier 2 law firm.
Serves the JMPs right for being so elitist and cashing in on all profits even if not contributing as much work. Not to mention the toxic culture. JSA has a similar culture but is way larger and has many legacy partners to save it.
