What is trying to act like a Tier 1 supposed to mean. When they had tier 1 practice areas at that point, why wouldn't they be a Tier 1 firm?

That’s fine but they were already struggling to make ends meet, they were at a tier 2 trying to act like a tier 1 at best, however, all their t1 lawyers and teams have left, they’ll relegate to tier 3 status.

Serves the JMPs right for being so elitist and cashing in on all profits even if not contributing as much work. Not to mention the toxic culture. JSA has a similar culture but is way larger and has many legacy partners to save it.
