WBNUJS (a law school by your definition) has even set up a department for forensic science and offers two degrees B.Sc-LLB and MSc in Forensic Science to cash in on the opportunity. The authorities at WBNUJS must be foolish to do that, and you are the only smart one in the room.
The bottom line - had NFSU invited NLS and NALSAR (or any NLU) to be part of this national initiative, they would have jumped at the opportunity to associate with NFSU (just like NLUD). But as I said, they just aren't good enough. For all state NLUs, the route to be part of such important national initiatives goes through NFSU, as the remit of state NLUs does not extend beyond the boundaries of the respective states.
NFSU receives funding of ₹2254 crores ($275 million) for expansion, enhancement, and excellence.

This round of funding (₹2254 crores) is several times more than the combined funding the 24 state NLUs receive. The NLUs pale in comparison (chillar party), and they must be salivating at seeing this development and desperate to somehow associate with NFSU. Moving forward NFSU will be the controlling and the dominant entity for any such associations.
This will have a multiplier effect on the entire economy. Seeing this, consulting firms, law firms, tech firms, and others will move to strengthen their capabilities in this domain. Coupled with the three new criminal laws coming into effect from July 1st, this will new jobs for forensic and legal professionals.
The NFSU brand far exceeds the combined branding of all NLUs.
To those NLU fans who downvoted all my posts (current and previous), and tried to ridicule them - as I have always mentioned, they do not matter. Welcome to this new reality. NFSU rocks!!!
