I just found out that the real estate Partner and her entire team unexpectedly departed without any warning. What's the story? Tell me everything!

โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ.
Lol not a rumour. Yes happened yesterday. Kept their work laptops and didn't turn back.
Not a wonder. Associates were restricted from going for breaks if not with the SA/partner. So comes not as a surprise that here also noone was left behind.
Joke!Do firms really recruit interns? I wanna join too..
Had heard of associates leaving their laptops and not returning to work, the partner continuing the infamous tradition is pretty much unheard of๐Ÿ˜‚
The exit was as same as the entry. life has come a full circle :)
Heard that the equity partner (s) was reduced to tears after this incident ๐Ÿ˜ญ? Is it true?
The existing EP doesn't want the management to give equity to salaried partners, exits are bound to take place
TO the new beginnings which would be toxic free life
JSA (vivek chandy team) - its public info now. Circulated firmwide.
Mod still shows it as rumoured and contested. Legallyindia has its own standards of public knowledge.
Mod ko sapna thodi aaega, or na hi wo JSA me kaam karta hai. Verify to karega na akalmand?
will happen again. promise. another team is planning to take an exit. watch out.
The remaining partners don't have enough clientele for them to get poached by rivals. The partner who left has taken away most of the clients
Lol I love these guys who are implicitly stating things in this entire thread ๐Ÿ˜‚
Barely had any.

Equity partner gets clients for BLR office. Keeps running around all day to get BD Done.
I agree. Must have shifted as an execution partner.
The rumor is Bangalore office will be shut shortly
The management was literally forced to make the SA promotions at the Bangalore office even though a couple of them were not even eligible for it. The sudden exit of the RE partner has given them sleepless nights.
i received a very tempting offer from DSK Bangalore and almost fell for it but now i feel it would be unwise to bite the bait, given the state of affairs
An Excellent opportunity awaits you. Work at a firm that rewards for performance and values your work without over burdening you. Don't go by the views of trolls.
They did hire one principal associate and two associates in the RE team - Don't manufacture lies
Let the newbies enjoy their honeymoon period before they realize the toxicity and put in their papers
Desai had sent a bunch of partners from the Mumbai office to BLR office in 2023 to figure out the reason of mass resignation of associates. They camped here for 2-3 weeks, seems this didn't work out?
MP must shift base to Blr to actually observe how the EP(s) and his cliques function
No wonder they're getting the corporate team members to do real estate work just to stay afloat but one can imagine the quality of work that will be produced
Can you all please cut the woman a slack? It is internal policy of the firm to terminate anybody who is about to resign. If she chose to save her career, it is her RIGHT. Give her the Right to Exercise HER choice.
I see what you have done there. :) Good. GOOD. :)
Even if you give a notice they don't give your experience letter. It's important for students to know that because you can't also raise a question about it because of obstruction they create in your communication with the management. Main management is good but.
The "good management" left for Khaitaaaannn long ago
This internal policy is limited to BLR office. HR has an actual (and not nominal) role to play in onboarding and offboarding in other locations.
Just the designation has changed to CPO...her intent and actions remain the same
Took the interns too? Someone please elaborate this part!
Serves them right, now the firm is posting vacancies to hire a RE Partner with PQE of 15 years๐Ÿคฃ
Spare some "Dua" for the partners. They really did not deserve such unjust treatment ๐Ÿคฃ
Heard.....inspite of lucrative offers no one is joining
Why would a partner join the blr office only to play second fiddle to incompetent EPs?
Hahaโ€ฆ! Donโ€™t think anyone will ever join..
Things not to be taken at face value, DSK is known for its high attrition rate. Around 30 staffers have quit the firm over the last 2 years. If this can offer some hint to what can be going wrong there
More than 80 percent of the 30 exits have happened in their Bangalore office.
Exactly and Bombay HR gives a false impression that there's hardly any attrition. There have been instances where associates in the corporate teams have left in a week and a half
Heard of another exit that happened recently. A corp partner is also aggressively looking make a switch and dump the EP

The firm's BLR office is so rabid that even decent non-toxic folks become toxic after spending a few months here.
An Associate in one of the corp teams is well known for forwarding the associates' gossips to his partner during morning agenda discussions. No wonder he was made an SA before time
woahhhhhh, interesting insights !!!!!!! But why on earth would an associate do this, seems unusual
