I work at Khaitan Mumbai with the PE team and my in-hand per month comes around 1.83 pre-tax. With bonus (variable) I’m hoping to take around 26-27lpa.

You mean this is what you’ll be making this FY right? As an A3?

What matters is your post tax salary. Your pretax salary doesn’t seem so impressive anymore when the govt snatches away 1/3 of it —- and maybe even more if a certain political party with Uber-woke socialist ideas comes to power!!
