I'm a 2024 grad. I have okayish internship experiences of various decently ranked firms in the M&A, PE,VC domain. However i couldn't get a ppo from anywhere and now I'm having an opportunity to join an in-house team of a fairly big industrial machinery manufacturing company, it has general corporate related work. I eventually wanna end up in a top tier law firm's M&A, PE,VC team someday.

Is this job the right decision for me or will it be a detrimental factor ? I'll eventually switch to some law firm in an year or so.
