We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Is this job the right decision for me or will it be a detrimental factor ? I'll eventually switch to some law firm in an year or so.
Further if law firm is your goal, it is better to start in law firm than in-house because generally the lateral hiring from inhouse to firm is not preferred that much. Plus the inhouse role tends to get managerial at some point. Learning is not that high in in-house.
