Markets are at all time highs and again very busy with n number of companies looking at IPOs and QIPs. It seems there is a crazy hiring spree by tier 1 firms like Trilegal, AZB, S&R, SAM right now given the number of recruiters and firm HRs approaching.

Fellow CM lawyers from these teams, could you please tell us your experience in terms of pay, team environment, and working hours?
DO NOT GIVE INTO THIS TRAP OF A PRACTICE. The market will quickly go down soon after the elections and you will be hanging around in M&A work and fired soon.
What can one do when already stuck? Just looking for greener pastures
Minor correction are always there. Just buckle up and enjoy the ride. CM practice has taken a giant leap in last 2-3 years. If you are in top 5 firms, you will consistently find work, irrespective of the market, at least for the next 3 quarters.
Its a paradox! As a fresher you are desperate to join T1 but as soon as you finish 8-12 months all T1s are desperate for you to join them
....in the IPO season, then they dont pay you bonuses and put you on PIP.
It’s fine bro. Even I won’t be here by the time IPO season is over.
It is not a paradox. Simply put everyone wants pre trained people. No one wants to invest time, effort and money to train. Why do that when some other firm will do that for you and then the talent is ready for the picking.
