Why is this shocking? It would have been shocking if the CJI had actually acted upon the complaint. The PM or CM may get into trouble for corruption but people from Higher Judiciary can never get into trouble.
He should release the letter he wrote else it didn’t happen. Why should we believe him?
Any other CJI would also have been done the same. To quote Anil Kapoor from Nayak, "Sab ke sab chor hai!"
