This was a reality check for me. The guy is in his early thirties, which is considered young in the legal profession. He is not a nepo kid and from a regular middle class family. I have seen CAM and SAM Mumbai partners even in their 40s who still drive a Honda City and wear a Tissot. Does this mean that court practice is more lucrative?? Also, does living in a tier 2 city save a lot on rent? I mean, it canβt be that huge a difference??
Court practice has proven to be lucrative for lawyers who have practiced in tier 2 cities like Hyderabad, Pube, Bengaluru and Chennai the past 10 years
"Mean" in the statistical sense. That is where you need to start, in terms of understanding about "the average lawyer".
Also, "Mean" in the linguistic sense. Like, "Did you mean to tell the world that you cannot understand the concept of outliers and/ or exceptions to the rule?"
Also, "mean" in the "nasty" sense. "I know someone who was a chaiwala and became PM. Does that mean that I should drop out of IIM and become a chaiwala if I want to be PM?"
