1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Itβs 8% of your contribution to that 3 lakh. So for eg if only 2 people worked equally on that mandate, itβll be 8% of 1.5 lakh for each
It has great culture, no work pressure, no toxicity, great work life balance, no client pressure, and great life. Only drawback is pay. For payment youβll have to join some place and bear all the above. Wake up to the reality and come out of the la la land.
It is the same as any other tier 1 banking finance team, though they pay like tier 3.
Hours are crazy. Pay is peanuts. The seniors at PA and above level are tuff to work with. The partners wonβt listen to you and will treat your like machine. There is no reason why you should join AZ or CAM, which has the same culture with atleast better pay.
The work there is a barren wasteland of unending monotony, stripping away every bit of intellectual engagement and joy. You'll be engulfed in a relentless cycle of third rate template-driven drudgery, surrounded by a sea of despondent colleagues who have long surrendered to a grim existence at the mercy of their overlords. The psychological toll is severe, leading to a profound loss of personal identity and well-being. The bleakness and soul-sapping nature of the work management makes this team a nightmare from which you should flee at the earliest opportunity and thank you stars with profound sense of absolute gratitude each day, each minute, that you don't work there.
But NTD's and SS's team at AZB is too good. Not a banking and finance per se but they do a fair bit of structured finance
It's a boutique firm and not trilegal jo 19L dega so it's obvious it'll pay peanuts but peanuts mai bhi kitna ?
Avoid most of CAM, JSA and Trilegal, and if you don't mind switching to broader finance teams who also do some gen corp work, then also consider Veritas Legal & Anagram Partners.
The best option imo would be to join a bank, of you can handle the paycut. The benefits & WLB by far overweigh any loss of T1 tag there! All the best!
FYI, I didnβt work with every firm so I might be wrong - maybe there are better folks out there.
Your inputs will be of great help!
