Cap Marks. One mistake, and whole transaction is stuck.
The only reason ChatGPT can't take over an average cap marks associate's job is because the equity partners are tech-illiterate. It takes more brainpower to make Maggi than to do capmarks work.
an SA forgot to send me a zip which had the Business chapter backups. The QIP transaction has been at it for 4 months because of the delay so its true - one missed email, one mistake and the whole transaction gets messed up.
Sure. Stop exaggerating and marks this troll mod.

Our work is insignificant
yes and the world also stops turning till it’s fixed
A2, leaving IDT Here. 50:50 Compliance Litigation mix. This is the worst field any lawyer can fall in. Not to mention competition from CAs
IDT here...hardly any opportunities to shift. pay is also less ! join DT or IDT only if you like the subjects
IDT for lawyers like corruption intermediary work.

Bribe valuation

Alcohol and escorts logistics (for officers)

I've been doing that since 2017-18.
How are you leaving? Where are you leaving?? Is it possible to leave??? Please enlighten.
CESTAT & Indirect Tax litigation is dying. GST has eliminated interpretation game
You have no idea about the tax practice and are therefore commenting.
Please elaborate on this practice area if you have been working in this field. I could really use some insights on tax , especially International tax and how this practice area could be better than the rest , e.g. M&A, Competition, etc.
I'll tell you which is the easiest- employment law.
Toughest is direct tax litigation. None of the big law firms have a strong DT litigation practice. IDT they still do but not DT.
Toughest remain civil and criminal law practice in trial courts. Everything else easier comparatively.
IPR-Patents. One needs to leverage knowledge of 2 very different degrees to work.
