They do have an 'assessment' internship thing if you've interned before though I'm not sure if they really consider these candidates for recruitment as there's little transparency. Internships appear to be through reference mostly. Work culture can be said to be good.
Red tape, partiality not based on merit, sycophancy, ill treatment based on one's perceived financial status, open mocking with indirect caste references, so on and so forth.
I have been working with Tatva Hyderabad for more than 2 years and can confidently say all of the above is total lies. Work of someone who holds a grudge or is a competitor. You should speak to people who work or have worked with Tatva Hyderabad.
Labelling anyone who speaks the truth as a grudge holder or competitor. Funny. Tatva is no competition to any major Tier 1 firm (nationally). Sure, in Hyderabad they can have their way by bribing and bullying, but that tactic will not work outside Hyderabad. Anyone having doubts about this place read up other threads on Legally India and ask around in the legal circles in Hyderabad. There is someone in the higher levels of management who is infamous, not just in Tatva, but in the legal circles in Hyderabad, for treating others in the organisation in an almost slave like and humiliating manner. This culture flows down to other levels in the organisation.

Facts speak for themselves. Tatva Hyderabad has about 45 lawyers working with it - see its website. No other law firm in Hyderabad, be it tier-1, 2 or 3, has more than 15 lawyers. No one can buy rankings from agencies like Chambers. Any of the 45 lawyers working with Tatva Hyderabad will tell you about the work culture. Their LinkedIn profiles are also there on the website. Message them to know the truth.

PPO: They recently hired 2 students for the corporate team and one from disputes for the 2024 intake through PPOs

Work Culture: heard that corporate and real estate teams are good. Not toxic at all. But got some negative reviews about the disputes teams.

Hiring: right now (today April 5th 2024) they are expanding. They recently hired a corporate partner. They have been conducting interviews at SLS and NLU O and have hired few students.

General comment: I don't think its fair to compare Tatva Legal Hyderabad with the firms in Mumbai and Delhi. Mumbai and Delhi have a huge corporate base hence obviously the workload and pay is higher there as compared to Hyderabad. But one thing for sure is that Tatva Legal Hyderabad has great base in Hyderabad even in such a small Market. But it doesn't take a genius to know that Hyderabad is growing rapidly and hence Tatva Legal Hyderabad client portfolio will increase.

Pay: 7-8 L per annum and a performance based bonus (its less as compared to Mumbai and Delhi but the figure is appropriate for Hyderabad and pretty sure the salaries will grow in the future as Hyderabad grows)
